Now he’s just one year old and already weighs 12 pounds!
He’s really super obedient usually and almost never meows. He has a very good temper and can be kneaded around casually (mainly because he’s too lazy to move). When I’m resting, I find that he mainly sleeps during the day, in all kinds of positions. He sleeps until he’s full, then eats, and after eating, he sleeps again, so he grows very fast. When I get home at night, he lies beside my feet, either sleeping or looking around with his eyes wide open. Later, after I opened the window, he hung out with semi – stray cats every day (mostly being bullied). Then his temper changed a bit, mainly becoming more lively. But he’s extremely timid. When other cats come in and eat his cat food, he can only watch from a distance in another room.
Apart from using my several floor mats to sharpen his claws and scratching a big hole in my mosquito net (not sure if it was him), he hasn’t damaged anything else of mine.

He doesn’t sleep in his own nest but likes to sleep on the bed. At first, he liked to sleep on my feet, and then beside me (anyway, he has to be a little bit close). Later, when I sleep, I would encircle him, and he would sleep on my arm. Although he’s light, he can wake me up in the middle of the night. And then he just sleeps leaning against my arm. Now he directly competes with me for the pillow. He also wants to put his head on the pillow, with his back to my face, and still has to be close to me. So when I wake up in the morning, I usually find that my head is not on the pillow. It’s strange to say that I don’t mind other things, but I just don’t want my face to touch him. And he has never licked or bitten my face.
Now, when he wants my attention, he will suddenly pounce on me and bite, step on me, or stare at you with his little eyes. Sometimes he’s stubborn and doesn’t let me hold him. But as long as I pretend to walk towards his cat bowl, he will come over by himself. This method always works.
Some time ago, he brought back fleas. I soaked him in water for about half an hour, and he didn’t struggle at all. He’s also very obedient when taking a bath. Even if he wants to go out, as soon as I scold him or press him down a bit harder, he will be obedient and stop moving. The same goes for applying medicine. Later, on a whim, I decided to cut his hair short. I tried with an eyebrow trimmer and made a hole, which looked so ugly. So I used scissors to cut it all off. And then, in just over an hour, I really finished cutting his hair. He didn’t struggle much either. Although it was cut very ugly, he didn’t seem particularly depressed or unhappy.
Living alone with such a worry – free and cute little partner really makes me very happy. I originally worried that he was lonely and wanted to raise another cat, but I have all kinds of concerns. I’m afraid he will be bullied, that the new cat will be too noisy, and that he will be led astray, so I haven’t made a decision yet. After all, not every cat can be as good as him.
I know that pictures can attract attention, but with my clumsy hands and his jet – black color, I really can’t take good pictures. Usually, the pictures are all blurry. You have to look carefully to tell which is his leg and which is his head.
These two pictures were taken after his hair was cut, and they’re not blurry.
