(Mainly I protect it very much, haha) Last night, it was extremely naughty, rolling around and throwing tantrums everywhere. When I was wiping its paws, it wasn’t obedient, so I scolded it a few times. As a result, when I entered the bedroom at night, it didn’t come to me as usual. I ignored it. Then this scheming cat jumped off the bed, pretended to eat cat food, just touched the food bowl, and immediately came into the bedroom. It meowed loudly by my bedside but didn’t get on the bed.
Then I picked it up and put it beside me. Guess what? It looked at me for more than ten seconds, and when it lay down, it cupped my face with its paw pads!!! I was so shocked that I almost didn’t dare to sleep with it. My boyfriend kept saying the next day that Potato was too clever. Today, it was as energetic as if it had been injected with chicken blood, running around and jumping up and down. Its eyes were even set on the string lights on the wall of my bedroom. After I scolded it, it obediently stayed still… But, here comes the “but”. Just a while ago, seeing that my boyfriend and I were each busy with our own things, it sneaked into the living room to secretly pull the lights!!! When I heard the noise, my boyfriend quietly slipped over to catch it in the act. Then I shouted, “Potato, run! Your dad is coming to catch you.” At the same time, my boyfriend rushed in and turned on the light, only to find it feigning sleep on the sofa in the bedroom. I was really impressed…
And the string lights on the wall not far away were still swaying… It played the same trick again later. The sofa is a bit far from the wall where the string lights are. Its reaction ability is really amazing! And I think Potato is very scheming. Every time we play with a laser pointer or a cat – teaser, it has a routine. It pretends not to care, ignores them, or plays with other things to distract our attention. But most often, it will secretly hide, behind a door corner, behind someone’s legs, or under the tablecloth, and then suddenly attack. It’s impossible to defend against. And when it does something wrong and sees you appear, it will act cute, rub against your legs, and meow in a sweet voice.
I just want to say, wasn’t it said that animals can’t become spirits after the founding of the People’s Republic of China? It’s also full of schemes when vying for attention. Alas, this little troublemaker! And I deeply agree with the saying that pets take after their owners. I’ve been extremely greedy and fond of eating since I was a child, but I never expected that my Potato is even more so than me. It can’t hear the sound of any food packaging being torn.
It will appear in a flash. I was eating a fried chicken leg against the head of the bed, and this guy flew over directly from the end of the bed!!! It was the first time I saw it pounce so bravely. I was so scared that I jumped up from the bed and shouted! Whether I’m eating Zhou’s pancakes, cream biscuits, or yogurt, it’s absolutely impossible not to feed it a bit. It always tries to snatch them! My goodness! One morning, it even put its paw into my boyfriend’s fish tank, intending to get at the group of small fish fry that we had carefully taken care of until they grew up. If it hadn’t been seen by my boyfriend who suddenly got up to go to the toilet, my fish would probably have been in trouble. And since then, the lid of the fish tank has never been taken off again!
In the pictures above, there’s one of my boyfriend holding a flower pot. He had to hold it all the time because he simply couldn’t prevent Potato from destroying his beloved little red sandalwood plant. Although our naughty Potato is very mischievous, we still love him as much as ever. The only hope is that he grows up healthily and happily!
