I used to often go to cat cafes. The blue cats I met there were not clingy. There was even one that scratched me when I held it. So, I used to have a really bad impression of blue cats. When I was thinking about raising a cat, I considered raising a Ragdoll, an American Shorthair, or a Chinese rural cat, but I never thought about raising a British Shorthair.
Who could have imagined that my first cat would be a British Shorthair? And it’s the most classic blue cat.
Huīhuī is a cat I met in a cat cafe. At that time, he was just a little guy, only three months old. My boyfriend and I were studying there. He jumped onto the table, stepped on our books, and wouldn’t let us read. We carried him down several times, but he would climb back up, as if he was pestering us to play with him. There was really nothing we could do.
At that time, we were just about to raise a cat. We didn’t care about the breed, gender, or age, but we just hoped the cat would be close to us. Just then, this little cutie suddenly barged into our world.
On the first day we met, we could already hold him. This soft little furball was like a marshmallow.
After we got home, my boyfriend and I just couldn’t forget this little blue cat. So, we decided it was him!
We drove to pick him up and bring him home~ He slept soundly in my arms all the way, like a little angel.
After that, every day, he had to be hugged to fall asleep.
When I study, he is my hand – warmer.
He has an extremely good temper. Other cats don’t let people touch their paws, tails, or bellies, but he is completely okay with it. You can pet him however you want.
When he’s sleeping, he won’t let you pull your hand away. You must hold him, or he will get angry.
He sleeps with his face buried.
This is really the most clingy blue cat I’ve ever seen in my life. If you go out, even if it’s just for an hour or two, as soon as he hears the door opening, he will immediately meow and come over, circling around you and rubbing against you.
I used to think he was hungry, so I added cat food for him. But unexpectedly, he didn’t even look at it and just followed me.
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t believe that a blue cat could actually be such a clingy one.
