Actually, at first, I didn’t like cats. It was not until later when I went to Xiamen and saw a blue cat in a cat cafe. I thought it was really cute. As soon as I got back to Shanghai, I spent a “huge sum” of money to buy a blue cat. (Now I know that blue cats are the cheapest.) In the early stage, I kept it at my girlfriend’s place. (My family didn’t allow keeping pets at first.) Later, during the Spring Festival, my girlfriend stayed at my home with Chui Chui for four or five days. My mom thought it was quite pretty, so we kept it.
At first, I was going to name it Bang Chui (meaning pestle), but later my girlfriend thought it was too ugly, so we named it Chui Chui. Our Chui Chui is now about one and a half years old. She’s like a tigress. She hisses at strange cats. Her personality is not too clingy, and she really likes to be groomed. When sleeping at night, she likes to sleep beside me. As soon as I touch her, she turns over to show her belly, and I can touch her belly. She especially likes to eat small snacks and wakes you up punctually at 6:30 in the morning. Once, she pooped on my bed, and I educated her. Fortunately, she didn’t hold a grudge against me.
Later, I thought Chui Chui might be a bit lonely alone, and it would be a pity to spay her before she had experienced certain things. So I bought another blue – and – white cat named Handa. This Spring Festival, she gave birth to six kittens all at once. The little kittens are so cute. Hahaha.
