My Adorable and Tricky British Shorthair, Millet

The British Shorthair blue cat in my family was brought from my cousin’s house. It’s just a pet – grade cat, but after several years of companionship, I’m gradually confused whether it’s truly cute enough to stand out in this question, or it’s just the “owner’s filter” effect.

At first glance, Millet seems like a polite little cat. Every day, it coquettishly acts cute with a soft voice, making my parents unable to resist buying cat snacks and freeze – dried cat food. However, only I know about its scheme of misbehaving at home by relying on its cute acts.

Only someone like me, who is treated differently by this “green – tea” – like kitten, has the chance to see its scheming expressions.

In this photo, it noticed that I was leaning against my mom. Usually, when we watch TV at night, the position in my mom’s arms is always its place. It kept looking back and forth between my mom and me.

In this one, it found that the blanket it usually secretly climbs on to knead was taken by me as a quilt.

This little mute surely has no way to complain about these small grudges. But once I forget to do some housework, as soon as my parents come home from work, this guy will definitely yell to tattle on me. Then my mom will surely find out that I forgot to refill the cat food, clean the litter box, or add water. But it had just eaten before tattling, and there was still some cat food left in the bowl… It’s hard not to think that it has a personal vendetta.

Millet was fostered at my cousin’s house for a while. The other cat there was its mother, Nuomi. This “green – tea” kitten rarely suffered a setback.

Here are some more photos.

If you don’t study hard, you’ll be toyed with.

Overall, Millet just treats people differently. The little cat has accompanied me for four years, and our relationship is still very good.

I secretly played Civilization 6 in my room until midnight. When I opened the door, I found that this guy was still waiting for me at the door. (It won’t go back to its nest until everyone has gone to sleep.)

Its eyes are so sleepy that they can barely stay open. Hahaha.

One more thing to add~

Another addition. Doesn’t it look a bit like a child bending down and looking at the upside – down world between their legs?
