Our little “brother” was bought from a cat dealer on October 6th. He was thin and small, about one and a half months old, and the blue film on his eyes hadn’t faded yet.
This was taken on the way back just after buying him. His eyes were round.
The next day after buying him, we found something was wrong. He kept shedding tears and sneezing. We thought it was because of the change of environment. Since it was our first time raising a cat, we didn’t know anything and didn’t do enough research. The third day when we got home, we saw that his eyes were obviously different in size. Feeling worried, we immediately took him to the pet hospital. The result was that he had herpes. Since then, a long journey of treatment began.
For about a month, his eyes were in an up – and – down state. The swelling would go down one day and come back the next. We changed two hospitals. Finally, the treatment effect at the animal hospital of the Agricultural University was very obvious. Now his condition has basically stabilized.
I like watching him sleep the most every day. His sleeping posture is so cute that I can’t help but want to pet him.
My boyfriend took this photo on the way to get him an injection. He stuck out his little tongue. So cute.
Finally, the herpes got better, but then came the season change. With his already poor resistance, he got cat ringworm. As his “old mother”, I always have so much to worry about. I spray and apply medicine to him every day.

He also likes to lie on our router, eating, drinking, and staying on the router.
In order to apply medicine easily and observe whether the ringworm was spreading in time, we shaved his fur and bought him clothes. He was so small that even the smallest clothes were too big for him. We had to manually make them smaller. When he first put on the clothes, he didn’t dare to move. After getting used to it for a while, he dared to move, but he couldn’t walk. He dragged his hind legs to walk, which was really funny. Later, he learned how to take off the clothes. And later, he became proficient in the skill of taking off clothes. If you don’t watch him after putting on the clothes, he would take them off completely in no time.
When there was sunlight, we moved him outside to sunbathe. The clothes we put on him were taken off again. He really likes to hold something and kick with his hind legs like this. So silly.
Now “brother” is almost three months old and has been in our home for over a month. We’ve been treating his illnesses for over a month. Now the herpes is stable, and the cat ringworm is almost cured. His weight has increased from 0.4 kg when he first came to our home to 1.3 kg now. His “old mother” and “old father” can finally smile with relief. In the future, we hope he can grow up safely and healthily and never get sick again.
Now at three months old, he’s a three – jin handsome and silly cat.
He gently bites my hand, and my heart melts.
