Let me show you my little handsome lilac – colored British Shorthair cat.
He’s the baby born to my colleague’s cat and was given to us.
This colleague asked in the work group if anyone could take in this cute little guy.
Coincidentally, my boyfriend was scrolling through his phone and showed me, asking, “Look, is this kitten cute?”
It was really love at first sight! I fell in love immediately.
I pestered my boyfriend to get this cute little cat.
Since I’m planning to get pregnant, my boyfriend was firmly against it at first! But he couldn’t resist his love for me. Hahaha.
We got the little cat that night!
That night, we took it to the pet hospital and did various examinations. It’s very healthy.
Since neither of us knew much about cats, but the shop owner was very excited and said that it’s a lilac – colored cat. And it’s chubby, which shows it’s very healthy at first glance.

When the owner heard that it was a gift from a colleague, he/she was really envious.
On the first day it came to my home, it was so timid.
It hid under the sofa and dared not come out.
It took a lot of effort to coax it out, and it played for a while.
My boyfriend is really a cat – loving guy. Although he said he would send Tangdou away soon, his actions were quite different. He was in a rather funny pose, sticking his butt up on the sofa to 逗猫 (tease the cat).
The most reassuring thing is that the little cat learned to use the litter box from its cat parents at home. After playing for a while, it went straight to the litter box. So obedient!
On the first day, the little cat slept timidly under the sofa. Well, on the second day, it slept on the sofa. Hahaha.
Because on the second day, it was already completely familiar with us. It would come over and rub its head against your hand actively when you reached out. It’s super cute. My heart melted.
I hope my Tangdou can grow up healthily!
Yesterday, I saw the photos of Tangdou’s cat father and cat mother at my colleague’s home.
I’m even more looking forward to its growth!
I love Tangdou. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
By the way, my boyfriend looked up information online. As long as we regularly deworm Tangdou, get its vaccines on time, and he does a good job as the litter – box cleaner, and as long as I don’t play with or eat cat feces, it won’t affect my pregnancy at all.
Just now, he asked me if I had decided where to put the cat climbing frame for Tangdou at home. Hahaha.
Now we can huddle together and sleep.
When feeding the internal deworming tablets, I was so worried that Tangdou wouldn’t eat them.
I wrapped the tablets in salmon puree, and it ate happily! It licked the bowl clean. Hahaha.
It’s so sleepy that its eyes can’t focus…
Whenever it’s sleepy, it comes to me and must lie on my legs or belly to sleep…
When it wakes up, I touch its soft and warm little belly.
It turns out that it really doesn’t stretch out its claws casually. I remember when we first played, I even wore rubber gloves. Hahaha.
Recently, I found that every time I thought it smelled bad, it would definitely poop within five minutes.
So I guess that when it smelled so bad… it was farting.
Crying!!!
Every time I would pick it up and smell it hard, wondering where the bad smell came from while smelling. Its butt was very clean…
So embarrassing!!!

Today, I found that Tangdou doesn’t like to drink water.
My husband immediately took me to the pet store and bought a Xiaopei Water Fountain Generation 3.
We also bought goat milk puddings and two toys by the way.
When we got home, Tangdou was a little scared when it saw the water fountain.
The two of us knelt on the floor, stuck our butts up, and taught it how to use it…
We had a hard time. Fortunately, Tangdou learned. Hahaha.
Tangdou playing with a ball.
Tangdou playing with a big fish – shaped toy.
Tangdou looking in the mirror…
And… today I found out! Tangdou might be a girl…
So shy!!!
Hahaha, ah, hahaha
Recently, when I’m out, I video – chat with my Tangdou.
Looking at its fluffy big face!
