Guapi: The Adorable Tabby Cat That Stole Our Hearts

Guapi: The Adorable Tabby Cat That Stole Our Hearts

It was a dirty little thing, with eyes full of fatigue and fear. We found a shoebox to make a nest for it and stuffed some towels inside to keep it warm. That afternoon, we went to the pet store and bought a small bowl, cat litter, and other things for it. So, it officially settled in our home. However, the next morning, there was always a pile of feces in the shoebox, and it would be huddled right next to it 🙂

Since kittens may have lactose intolerance, we specifically opened a can of goat milk powder for it to drink. At first, the little one didn’t know how to use the cat litter and “committed crimes” all over the house. One moment, we’d find a puddle of urine behind a flower pot, and the next, a pile of feces by the door… But my mother still seemed very happy to adopt this little one. After we left, she often sent me photos and short videos. It’s said that once the kitten had diarrhea, and my mother wrapped it in a towel and took it to the pet hospital to buy some antidiarrheal medicine.

These are the photos my mother took of the little one at that time ↓

Then came the Spring Festival. When I got home, I found that this little one was extremely clingy… It would follow wherever people went. Weren’t cats supposed to be aloof?

When my mother was cooking, it was on my mother’s shoes… When my father was having a meal, it was on my father’s shoes… When I was having a meal… it could even climb up my trouser legs to my chest ↓

Hahaha, it was so cute when it was little. But growth can be so scary. Now it’s in an awkward stage, and I really miss the time when it was small ↓

Oh, we named it Guapi later. In fact, rural cats are super cute too. Guapi has the appearance of white – gloved paws and a triangular – shaped “scarf” – like marking. It likes to sit with its paws tucked in, and its sleeping postures are quite charming… ↓

So handsome, haha.

Recently, when I’m home, every morning it comes upstairs to my room to wake me up. My mother said that after I leave, it will still come to the room. If it finds I’m not there, it will walk around the room once and then leave.

I can’t help but share some more photos~✧*。

Long legs

Finally, here’s a video of Guapi now. Make sure to watch it to the end! It’s really, really cute!

In fact, whether it’s an expensive pure – breed pet cat bought with a good pedigree or an ordinary rural cat picked up, no matter what the coat color is, as long as you raise it and pour your love and efforts into it, it’s an irreplaceable little friend.
