Why did I choose a Li Hua cat?
“Completely by accident. One day when Lao Xu was at work, someone in the colleague group said there was an abandoned kitten in the parking lot. Both of us like cats, but we never thought about actively buying or adopting one. Huihui came to us by coincidence. Anyway, once it came to our home, it became our cat.”
When it came, its leg was injured (I guess the previous owner abandoned it because of this). The two of us were so careless that it took nearly a week for us to fully notice.
At first, we only knew that one of its hind legs was swollen and it walked limpingly. We thought it would be okay after the swelling subsided.
In the following week, when I first went to wipe its paw with cotton, I found there was a wound… So at night, I looked for iodine, cotton swabs, and gauze to clean it.
There was a really stupid thing I did in the middle. After cleaning the wound, I bandaged it with a Band – Aid. But the next day… the wound festered… It was really miserable… I felt very guilty at that time.
But later, every time we changed the dressing, we found that things were not that simple. Until one day, I was shocked to find that the entire instep of the injured leg was festering! I was so heart – broken at that moment. Lao Xu wasn’t at home then, so I called him immediately.
Later, he read some experience posts on Zhihu and used hydrogen peroxide to treat the wound… The process was really tough. All the fur on one paw was gone… Huihui cried so much that we both dared not continue. Fortunately, after cleaning it twice and keeping it dry and bandaged, the wound gradually stopped suppurating and bleeding…
Now it has fully recovered. The fur has grown back. If you look closely, there’s a small scar, and it doesn’t limp at all… I have to admire the strong recovery ability of kittens!
Anyway, it had a tragic start. But soon, the happy and naughty life of Naughty Huihui began!
It’s really very naughty! And very cute!
Maybe because of the way I treat it, it’s very clingy. Since it got used to the new environment, it has been acting coquettishly in various ways.
It sleeps on the shoe rack at night. We didn’t prepare a cat bed (even if we did, it wouldn’t sleep in it, so we just threw it away). Its fixed “bed” is one of my shoes. Most often, it’s my big red single – shoe. It has good taste, whoosh.
When I went back to school, my boyfriend was playing games, and it stared at him beside the computer host. When I video – chatted with my boyfriend, it kept meowing at the screen when it heard my voice, with its eyes wide open. I think it was looking for me!
At that time, it was still small and couldn’t climb onto the bed. It could only climb the shoe rack or something. Its naughtiness was a bit more restrained. Every day when I came back, the shoes were in a mess.
Once when I was shopping in HM, I saw a fluffy red ball. Actually, it was a hair tie, but I thought Huihui would really like it, so I bought it as a gift for it. It really loved it! Its classic move is to hold the ball with its front paws and keep kicking with its hind legs, just like a silly roe deer~ (I’ll upload the video if I’m in the mood~)
Now it’s like a little “acrobat”. It climbs onto the bed, the table, the stool, and the clothes hanger…
It runs around the house like crazy every morning and evening.
When I lie on the bed, it comes to lie on its back, and I can hear it purring.

Well, it has all kinds of postures. The most annoying thing is on weekends. In the morning, after I go to the toilet and open the door, it rushes onto the bed at the fastest speed and starts running around crazily, stepping on my head and straddling over me. I just don’t want to pay attention to it.
Its tail is really long……………. Why is its tail so long……..
It’s extremely flexible.
Occasionally, it’s very sweet. We both enjoy these moments. Once it fell asleep while holding my hand like this.
Before, it wouldn’t let me pet it except when it was purring. Every time I had to pet it forcefully!
Anyway, Huihui is really cute.
In my heart, Li Hua cats are better than many precious cat breeds, whether in terms of appearance or other aspects.
