Training a Cat to Use the Toilet: The Story of Ali and Little Orange

Are you ready with a small stool for training your cat to use the toilet?

First of all, you need to have a Dragon Li cat. (Cough, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have one.)

Before anything else, you should look for a suitable [toilet training device] on Taobao or Xianyu. (If there are many people interested, I can explain the advantages and disadvantages of these training devices one by one.)

Secondly, [you need to have a toilet at home]. I don’t have any experience with squat – type toilets.

Finally, the key points are [the use and precautions of the toilet training device].

I bought this kind of device. It’s a bit expensive, but it can be reused.

[Usage method] The red part is the first stage. Pour in the cat litter and put a little of your cat’s feces in it. To be continued.

To be honest, Dragon Li cats are extremely intelligent. It took about 2 months to train Ali to use the toilet, and it learned it directly. However, the orange cat in my home still can’t do it even after half a year…

Thank you all for your love for my Ali…

Ali was picked up on March 7th, 2018. There is a video below. You can choose to click it. Don’t waste your data. (I’m a considerate little cutie ·)

When I picked it up, I fed it ham, and it ate a lot of ham. Because I had no experience in raising cats, it got excessive internal heat from eating the ham directly. The next day, its voice became hoarse.

This is the first stage of Ali’s toilet – training.

Ali’s baby teeth.

About a month after Ali came home, I also picked up the little orange sister cat. She weighed only 595 grams.

It’s quite a coincidence. One is a yellow – colored Dragon Li cat, and the other is a black – colored one. Their colors are solid.

Ali is cautious and very clingy to family members. It doesn’t like to eat hair – removal cream or any other nutritional products.

The little orange sister cat’s biggest advantage is that she has a good appetite. She eats everything, and she even rushes to eat bitter medicine. Maybe this is a characteristic of orange cats. [Although she can eat a lot, she’s still very thin. I hope some experts can give me some advice.] The little sister cat is clingy to me. She never stays more than half a meter away from me when I’m at home.

Thanks to Ali’s unremitting efforts, it finally has offspring… The expected due date of the little orange cat is around December 12th… Ali is really something. (If you’re interested in toilet – training your cat, you can send me a private message. Due to my busy work, I may not be able to reply to everyone one by one. I hope you all understand. Thank you with love.)

Thank you all for your support and love…

Before I started raising cats, I had a strong aversion to cats because I had very bad impressions of cats from the past. When I brought Ali back, I didn’t even dare to touch it, feeling that it would bite me. Because of my long – standing aversion to cats, I didn’t really want to keep it and wanted my boyfriend to give it away.

However, Ali tried all its best, constantly asking for hugs, being extremely clingy, and being so well – behaved and sensible that it finally won me over. Eventually, I became a cat – owner indulging in happiness. Later, I found that my personality and mood gradually changed. I became more cheerful every day, and the time I got irritable decreased significantly. [The cat has a healing buff.]
