Adopting a Fateful Kitten: A Journey of Love and Growth

Adopting a Fateful Kitten: A Journey of Love and Growth

I didn’t plan to keep a cat originally, and my family didn’t quite agree either.

But during the Spring Festival, I was “chosen”!!

Due to work, I went to a street for the first time. At a corner, I met a stray cat. I squatted down to take a look, and it climbed onto my lap and refused to get down.

Suddenly, I really wanted to keep it. Without much thought, I took it home. I took it to the pet hospital that night and found out it was seriously injured.

And at that time, it was really ugly and small!!!!

It looked like a middle – aged man!!

On the night it came home, it climbed onto my bed.

It stayed by my side all night without leaving until I woke up.

It was like this every day after that.

It would leave food for me.

It would bring back toys to me.

Even when it caught a bug, it would chase me around the house trying to give it to me!!

It loves hugs and pats and can’t get enough of them. It needs someone to accompany it while sleeping and eating. Every day when I come home from work, it will definitely be waiting at the door, pouncing into my arms to act coquettish!!!!

And as it grew, it seemed to have a “makeover”.

It sleeps like this.

I think no famous cat in the world is as lovely as my little cutie!!!!!!!!

Update on October 28th

Thank you to those in the comment section who praised Haican. I love you all, muah!! Reading those comments made me so happy!!

Regarding the filter issue, it doesn’t have a big impact actually. The filter on my phone only changes the color, and the lights at home are all yellow. I think it’s also because I’ve been taking pictures of it for a long time and have become better at it

Before, when I was embroidering, it even swallowed a needle!!!

I was extremely worried, but it was acting like nothing had happened, meowing as usual. Finally, it passed the needle out safely!!

Because of work, we moved later. For some reason, it’s really scared of riding in a car! The traffic was congested on the way, and it was a long time, which really frightened Haican.

It adapted to the new home without any problem. At first, I didn’t even buy a bed. I slept on the floor with it in my arms every day. When I first started living alone, I was really confused, but as soon as it acted coquettish, I felt everything was going to be okay.

Its personality is really, really good. It’s sensible and warm – hearted.

Then, it welcomed a younger brother and sister, two other adopted rural cats. When it first met the kittens, it didn’t show any unfriendly reactions at all. It would groom the younger brother and sister, sleep with them in its arms, and when there was canned food, it would take the initiative to let the kittens eat first. It has never gotten angry when its toys or food were snatched.

It would even feed the kittens when I’m out or sleeping!! It’s amazing!!

The younger sister likes to nuzzle its “milk” [even though it’s a male cat], and it lasts for over half an hour each time, and it never gets angry.

It seems to have become much more mature. Every day, it has this look of “I’m a grown – up cat now”, but at night, it still quietly gets into my bed and clings to me all night.

As soon as I open the door when I get home, no matter what it’s doing, it will rush out to rub against me and act coquettishly.

The only problem is, it’s getting fatter and fatter. What should I do!!!!!!

I can’t control it!

Meeting you is the greatest miracle in my life.
