It really depends on the cat’s personality. My cat is a little stray, and it’s the type with super – high energy. It’s in a hyper state all day long. No matter what kind of cat it is, you need to be patient and tolerant with your feline friend.
As for the changes it brings to the owner, well, the owner’s wallet gets thinner… My parents’ requirement for me to keep a cat is that I should handle everything about the cat without bothering them. I quite understand this. I also want to tell young kids who want to keep a cat that if it’s your own idea to have a cat, then you need to have the determination and take the actions to be responsible for everything about the cat.
It doesn’t have high demands on food. It eats normal cat food, but later my dad spoiled its taste. Now it eats only half of the previous amount of cat food, and the rest is supplemented with shrimp and beef.
One really good thing about it is that after I bought a cat – scratching board, it only scratches the board and never touches other places in the house.
At first, it was caught from the neighbor’s house. Our balconies are connected, and it ran onto my balcony. Can you imagine that feeling when your little cutie suddenly shows up?
This is a scene where we were looking at each other one day.
The temporary nest I made for it.

Later, lured by the good food, good drink, and good sleep at my home, this cat often came to my place.
At first, it stayed outside. My parents didn’t allow it to come inside. But gradually, the cat won the hearts of my parents.
Now it’s lying on my parents’ bed, watching TV.
Taking it out as a guest.
Its figure gradually became chubby, all thanks to my dad’s feeding. By this time, my dad already regarded it as a treasure.
Later, it had all kinds of funny sleeping postures at home.
Generally speaking, ordinary non – pedigree cats are tough and healthy. After being neutered, it recovered quickly, and it didn’t even wear an Elizabethan collar. (I bought two collars, a soft one and a hard one, but it refused to wear them because it found them annoying.)
After being neutered, it stayed at home to sleep. Before that, it wouldn’t do that. It had to go out to sleep at a certain time.
Another thing is that my parents’ tolerance for it has become higher and higher. Actually, it’s very noisy every day, jumping around, knocking everything on the table to the ground. The cat toys I bought or made myself would be played with until they disappeared, and I’m always running around looking for them.
After being neutered, its personality didn’t change. It’s still active, even more so, and it successfully lost weight.
