Raising My Adorable Dragon Li Cat: A Journey of Change

Raising My Adorable Dragon Li Cat: A Journey of Change

Raising a cat really can make people diligent.

I’ve found that when you truly like a living being, you can do far more than you imagine…

To prevent my cat from getting depressed staying in the small dormitory, I expanded its living space.

When I had no classes… I enclosed the balcony by myself.

I bought mosquito – proof screens and stuck them on with PVC tape. The top didn’t stick well because of too much dust, so I changed to sponge glue and continued sticking.

I had lived in the dormitory for over a year. The balcony was mainly used for drying clothes and was cleaned about once a month. I tried not to go out there if possible… because the terrain of our school is open and there’s a lot of dust.

But now, I’ve changed…

The first day it arrived at the dormitory, it ran out to the balcony ↑↑↑

It jumped up and scared me so much that my nostrils flared ↑↑↑

The screen door couldn’t stop it ↑↑↑

I spent an afternoon enclosing it and continued to finish the work after class in the evening ↑↑

Everything on the balcony belongs to it now.

I’ll update occasionally~

The biggest changes are probably that I go home more often and have become more patient…

As someone who loves to hang out with friends and could spend a whole day outside on weekends, now when I’m out, I’ll think of my cat alone in the dormitory from time to time. I’ll even rush back to the dormitory on weekends.

I know cats are independent and aloof, but I miss it, so I run back to see it and take a nap together.

And about patience, its poop stinks so much. It always likes to poop when I’m eating, and the litter box is less than one meter behind my chair… There’s really limited space in the dormitory…

I’ve endured eating with the smell of poop, and I’ve endured it jumping around by my bedside in the middle of the night.

What else can’t I endure? After all, it’s so cute.

Here’s an updated video~ Yes, I’m here to show off my cat. Hahahahahaha

It’s easy to raise~ First, here are some pictures.

I adopted my cat through Xianyu within the same city. My family had always disagreed with raising a cat. Later, there were too many mice, so I took this opportunity to persuade them to let me raise a cat (with a wise – looking emoji.jpg). I decided to raise a native Chinese cat, after all, they are well – known for being easy to raise and smart.

At first, I asked a friend to help me find a cat. I went to see a six – month – old white cat. But my grandmother disliked the white fur and thought it looked lazy, so we gave up on it.

Then, I chatted with a young lady on Xianyu. Her cat had just given birth to kittens. There were two orange ones and one flower – patterned one. The two little orange cats had been adopted, and only the little Dragon Li cat was left. My family saw the photo and decided it was the one (we’re all about looks in my family…).

I prepared cat litter, cat food, a cat carrier, and a cat cage. When the kitten was full – moon, I rode my electric scooter to pick it up. On the way, I wanted to get it dewormed because the young lady said it had fleas… It was probably terrified on the way and didn’t make a sound. When we arrived at the pet store to get it dewormed, its fur was all fluffed up, and the deworming failed. I quickly took it home.
