Haha, some people in the comments say my Mijiang is beautiful?
The following are the daily moments when this guy looks like a wily uncle.
Are you scared of loving me?
Don’t get any funny ideas, got it?

Most people say tabby cats are easy to raise. However, I think it also depends on their personality and physical condition.
For example, my Mijiang has stomatitis. Sigh. He’s over 7 years old this year and has had his teeth cleaned twice. And most of his teeth have fallen out. I don’t know if it will recur in the future.
Also, since he was born in summer, he’s extremely afraid of the cold in winter. Give him an old down jacket, and he’ll burrow into it and wrap himself up tightly. He’s also really fond of the electric heater and always stays close to it. I always have to remind him: Mijiang, stay away a bit! You’re almost cooked!

Speaking of his personality, I adopted Mijiang from a kind – hearted person when he was about two months old. He was probably abandoned. Maybe due to lacking love and security since childhood, he’s aloof and has never been very close to people. He knows his name, but when you call him, he often ignores you. He doesn’t like asking to be petted. But if you insist on petting him, he’ll roll over and purr, showing you his belly.
Before Mijiang was 5 years old, he lived with a blue – cat brother indoors. He never went out except for a dental cleaning. He got along very well with the blue cat. Although his weight was half of the blue cat’s, he wasn’t at all weak when they played or fought.
Later, he was separated from the blue – cat brother. I was worried that he’d be lonely, so I took him back to my hometown for my parents to take care of. When he first arrived, he didn’t dare to go out, and he even developed ringworm. After more than a month, he finally couldn’t resist his curiosity and started to gradually explore the outside world. There were two dogs at home, and Mijiang ignored them completely, treating them like air. Two years have passed, and Mijiang has fully adapted to a semi – free – range life. Except for eating and drinking at home, he basically sleeps and uses the toilet outdoors.
Every time I enter the courtyard when I go home, Mijiang always leisurely runs out from somewhere, looks at me, meows a few times, and then runs away. He probably means: You’re back. I know. You may leave.
I often joke with Mijiang, asking him when he’ll pass away so that I can adopt an orange – cat brother. Mijiang always gives an expression like “You wish. I can live for another 20 years.”
Sometimes I feel that after raising small animals for a long time, their personalities become more and more like their owners’ (maybe Mijiang thinks the same way). Although we dislike each other, as everyone knows, once you start being a cat – owner, you’re a slave for life.
I hope he’ll be okay.
Attached are several photos of Mijiang from childhood to adulthood:

He still looks like this at 6 years old. Having fur is great. You can’t tell he’s getting old at all.
