She’s so easy to take care of! She’s not picky about anything and is always finding ways to steal my friend’s dog food.
Every time I catch her, she still manages to take a big bite of the dog food before running away. It makes me both angry and amused.
I seriously suspect she’s actually an orange cat at heart!
My cat’s name is Hua Zai, but I usually call her Huahua.
Huahua was adopted from an aunt who takes care of stray cats and dogs locally. At first, she looked like this. Isn’t she cute? Her big, beautiful eyes really tugged at my heartstrings. I rushed to pick her up the second week.
I had just started working not long ago. My life was a three – point line of going to work, coming home, eating, and going back home. I missed the cat my family had when I was a child and really wanted to raise one myself. Actually, I had a lot of concerns at that time. What if I couldn’t take good care of her? Was I just doing this on a whim? What would she do all alone when I went to work? I thought about a lot of things. Later, I was very sure that I wasn’t just acting on a whim, so I went to the aunt’s place and brought her home.

She was really well – behaved at that time. She didn’t meow much and loved to lie on my lap. I even suspected she was a mute cat for a while. There was a big misunderstanding here. The aunt told me Huahua was a male cat, and I didn’t doubt it at all until I had raised her for a long time and suddenly realized that our Huahua was actually a female. When I took her for deworming, the doctor asked me if she was a little female cat. I firmly told the doctor that she was a male cat. Hahahahaha
Later, as she got more energetic, she would lie on the chair and “argue” with me. Humph.
She would often lie on my computer, getting in the way of my work. And she would use her paws to send messages to my friends on WeChat when I went to the toilet. T.T
In winter, she would sleep with me, stealing my woolen blanket and kicking me! But this was also the time when I felt the happiest. I could pet her more and get away with it. Hahahahaha
With Huahua around, I have to use one hand to pet her even when I’m playing with my phone. Cats are really warm, soft, and cute creatures. I often end up with a face full of cat hair.
There’s cat hair flying all over the house. I’m both disgusted and in love with it. Whenever I have troubles at work or in life, I just shout them out to Huahua. Although she doesn’t understand and probably thinks this two – legged creature is crazy.
But it really makes me feel relieved.
This was when she was still skinny before.
Now, after one winter, she’s become quite chubby… Emmmmmmm
She forms a sharp contrast with the dog Maomao. It’s all because you stole the dog food. Look at how skinny Maomao is.
I have to say, to be happy, just pet Huahua and play with Maomao. Life is so great. Hahahahaha
What’s with that unyielding look in your eyes?! Is it because it’s embarrassing to be caught stealing dog food by a two – legged creature?
Finally, Huahua, mom loves you. Even though you’re silly, lazy, not the most beautiful, and don’t seem to like me very much, and you often step on me so hard that it feels like I’m spitting blood, and even though you’re such a big cat but still can’t beat Maomao the dog, I still love you.
Mom will take better care of you in the future. I’ll remember to buy you the cat litter with the smell you like, the kind I’ll set an alarm to remind me to buy.
