Dragon Li cats are really easy to raise!!
I came across Feizai while browsing Xianyu. It was definitely fate! I didn’t plan to raise a cat at first, but the moment I saw it, I wanted to.
When I brought it home, it was six months old and had just received one dose of vaccine. What it looked like when it was first brought home.

The previous owner said it had been passed around several hands and that it had bad breath…
When I first brought it back, it was winter and extremely cold! I had no experience in raising cats. I couldn’t bear to put it on the balcony, so I put it in my room. Then, in the middle of the night, I heard it scratching the floor! And then I found out that it had pooped in my room!

And it was a bit of loose, runny poop. At that time, I didn’t know why, but I thought that’s how all cats were. Now I think it might have been a bit of a stress reaction from being in a new environment…

The feeling of raising a Dragon Li cat is that it’s easy – going. It eats whatever you give it. When I first started raising a cat, without much experience, if there was a sale on cat cans, I bought them! If the cat food was cheap, I bought it! If there was a buy – one – get – one – free deal on cat treats, I bought them! I bought whatever was cheaper. When Feizai came, it was still a kitten, but I didn’t notice that I bought adult cat food. After I got it, I realized my mistake and bought kitten food. Just in time for Double Twelve, I bought many different kinds of cat food bit by bit and mixed them together. At first, there were almost four kinds of cat food mixed…
Fortunately, Feizai is sturdy and didn’t have any problems. At first, I expected Feizai to develop jowls. But after looking up a lot of information, I found out that Dragon Li cats basically don’t develop jowls. So I didn’t worry about it anymore.

When the Chinese New Year was approaching, after much hesitation, I decided to take it back to my hometown to celebrate the New Year together.

It was so cold in my hometown. We depended on a small heater to keep warm, meow~
Feizai isn’t overly clingy. Unlike British Shorthairs or American Shorthairs, it doesn’t actively come close to you asking for kisses, hugs, or to be lifted up. It’s more reserved. But it will always stay by your side. Basically, wherever I am at home, it follows me, making sure I’m within its sight.
I’m playing games, and it’s curled up and sleeping beside my feet.

Another advantage of Feizai is that it’s in great health! When it was over eight months old, I took it to be neutered. I did a lot of research before the neutering. I bought a hemostatic gel, prepared a new cat bed, and new toys. However, basically none of them were used…

At that time, I bought an Elizabethan collar at the hospital, thinking that the ones from the hospital should be better. So I didn’t buy one online.
I really suggest everyone buy it online! Buy the kind that’s softer and has a larger opening. With the one Feizai had from the hospital, it couldn’t even eat! It couldn’t reach the food!! And it was very hard, making Feizai seem uncomfortable!
Feizai recovered very quickly. It was basically back to normal in four or five days~
