Friend, have you ever heard of Garfield? You know, the kind of cat whose life only revolves around eating, drinking, and sleeping.
When it comes to stupid cats, I think I’m quite qualified to talk.
It’s also because I like these clumsy kitties that I have six Garfield cats at home.
At first, we only had one male cat. He used to be really skinny. During one National Day holiday, we went back to our hometown and left him alone in the dormitory, with plenty of cat food and water prepared. But I was still worried that this silly cat might knock over the water by himself or that the cat food might get damp and become inedible. Anyway, I was afraid that something might happen to him at home. But when we got back to the dormitory after the holiday, good heavens! He had gained a lot of weight. From then on, I concluded that as long as you prepare enough cat food and water when you’re away on vacation, Garfield can live happily at home!

Actually, I understand that when the original poster mentioned stupid cats, they didn’t really mean cats that are truly dumb and silly, but rather those with a gentle temperament, who can quietly eat their fill and then sleep soundly. Due to the structure of their heads, Garfields have a very short distance between their noses and eyes. It’s like a human breathing with their nostrils blocked 24 hours a day. Such a physiological structure makes them reluctant to move because moving a little more would make it difficult for them to breathe.
Our Garfields are all very smart. Their biological clocks follow ours. In the morning, they’ll come to the bedside to wake us up (well, actually, they’re grumbling and asking me to add more cat food). At night when we go to sleep, they’ll lie straight in a pile under the bed (we have mosquito nets, so they can’t get on the bed… Don’t argue with me about why I don’t let the cats on the bed. It’s not that I haven’t tried, but with the fur of six cats, do you want to collect it to knit a sweater?). When they drink water, they look so silly as they always get their chins wet. But every time after drinking, they’ll come running to me and ask me to wipe their chins.
Whether a cat is stupid or smart depends on the guidance of its owner. If you really want a naturally lazy cat, then Garfield is worth considering. Of course, you have to wipe the tear stains of Garfield every day, and this is probably the only troublesome thing.
Hahaha, I’ll just take this as an opportunity to post photos of our cats… Every day I think, I really want the whole world to know that I have such cute little kitties.
