My cat Zhimahu was also a stray cat I picked up. It was meowing alone on the roof on a rainy day. After observing for a while, no adult cat came over. It seemed that it had been abandoned by its mother… Poor little thing.
When I first picked it up, it was only one month old with just two newly grown tiny teeth and hadn’t been weaned completely. I took it to the pet hospital for a small physical examination. There was nothing wrong with its body and it was relatively clean. Fortunately, I brought it home.
Although it hadn’t been weaned, it already knew how to charm humans. Wuwu.
During that period, I had to rush home every noon and afternoon after class to feed it. Fortunately, it was already the end of September when I picked it up. I tried to wean it during the National Day holiday when I was at home the whole time, so it didn’t really affect my normal study.

The gradually growing kitten liked to climb on my ukulele as if it were a mountain.
Its blue eye membrane faded slowly. It had a personality a bit like a dog and liked to climb people’s legs.
When it was fierce (at 3 months old).
When it was goofy (at 3 months old).
When it was a long-legged lady (also at 3 months old).
It was an Internet-addicted girl.
In winter, it would burrow into my boyfriend’s clothes.
When it had medicine on its body to prevent licking, it had to wear clothes (its legs were so long).
Now it’s 4 months old. I can already see its potential to grow horizontally…
Updated with a few more photos. It hasn’t grown horizontally yet. I’m curious why I, who have been chubby since childhood, can’t fatten it up.
Finally, I have time to update again!
During a video call with its daddy.
Sleeping with its tongue sticking out.
Accompanying me during the exam week.
Then after the exam, it flew home with me for the Chinese New Year. Finally, it met the Shiba Inu brother it had seen on video many times.
It was really bold. It wasn’t afraid at all when it arrived at the new home (instead, the dog was afraid of it).
It occupied my bed every day.
It had been home for two weeks. It was time to arrange for its neutering.
It was a precocious kid. It started to go into heat when it was four and a half months old. Finally, when it reached 6 months old, I rushed to have it neutered (it had already gone into heat three times).
The shy photo when it first went into heat. Look at that straightforward gaze.
Just after being neutered. Look at those long legs…
The pitiful look in its eyes on the first day after neutering.
I hope it recovers quickly, my baby.
On the second day after neutering, it vomited three times the previous day and I was so worried as its mother. It seemed a bit more energetic on the second day.
On the third day, it was much more energetic. The big-eyed girl was back!
One week after neutering, I considered changing it to a lighter and softer collar. So cute.
On New Year’s Eve, it was exactly two weeks after being neutered. I removed the collar and it happily basked in the sun.
As a cat from Chongqing, it even needed to learn to play Dou Dizhu.
