My Lovely Princess, Danjuan, Maybe a Dragon Li Cat

My Lovely Princess, Danjuan, Maybe a Dragon Li Cat

My little princess at home, I’m not sure if she’s a Dragon Li cat. But judging from the coat pattern, she does seem more like one.

Princess Danjuan was found in the drainage ditch of the rented yard during a typhoon in August last year. When we picked her up, she was all wet and tiny. I wasn’t at home at that time, and it was my husband who took her to the hospital. We guessed that maybe a careless stray cat mother in the yard had left her behind in our small yard.

This was the photo my husband sent me at that time. She was so small and skinny that I could hold her in one hand. Her eyes were full of eye boogers, and she looked like a little mouse. Even my husband thought she was ugly.

When she was little, she was extremely insecure. She would follow us around chirping every day and even sleep on top of us. She often took a nap with me, sleeping on my stomach or shoulder. She couldn’t wash her face by herself either. After each meal, she would still raise her little head and let me wipe her face with a wet wipe.

Gradually, the blue film in the little one’s eyes disappeared. Under our feeding of one small quail egg yolk a week combined with kitten food, her fur became smoother and smoother, and she grew bolder and bolder.

She’s not as clingy to my husband and me as before, but she still likes to act cute with us before going to bed and when we first wake up in the morning.

Now Danjuan is almost eight months old and is becoming more and more lively and active. She can jump from the table onto the top of the mosquito net in one leap and then climb down the mosquito net nimbly. She likes lying on top of the mosquito net in a curled-up position the most. Even right after being neutered, she would still struggle to jump up there.

All in all, Danjuan is really the cutest kitten in the world. With her around, every day is filled with happiness. We also look forward to Danjuan growing up with the baby that’s going to be born. I believe she’ll be a great big sister.
