My tabby cat Mimi (1)
has many shortcomings, but also many advantages.
1. She is naughty and energetic.
She can jump onto a 2-meter-high wardrobe and crawl into an 8-cm gap under the bed. She has explored the house 100% of the time.
She is not interested in toys that are not interactive. She likes to play with cat sticks and laser pens. You can see her flying while playing. She
is keen on catching insects. No insect that enters my house survives. The next morning after moving into the new house, you can see three or five dead cockroaches on the ground when you wake up. That was the result of her battle the night before. In a few days, the cockroaches were all killed. It was better than cockroach medicine.
A huge moth and a bat flew into my house. I was afraid that they had rabies, so I let
the bird go. I deleted the picture. It was a bit bloody, and I was afraid of causing trouble.
As for mice, I have raised her for four years and have never seen a single one at home. My grandmother doesn’t like cats, but she also praises her for being a good mouse avoider.
She loves to bite people, but she won’t hurt you. She bites you for fun. But when she was young, she couldn’t control her strength and often bit my hands, leaving scars all over. During that period, I had to wear gloves to touch her.
When she was young, she loved parkour, especially in the middle of the night, using you as a trampoline. I called her a flying monkey. After she turned 2, her parkour behavior decreased a lot. She basically stopped making noises at night and slept with me.
2. She is shy and curious.
She is very alert to strangers. When guests come to my house, they can only look at her, but can’t touch her. But she is very curious and will observe others quietly. She will also slap someone’s paw when they are not paying attention. . .
Because she has never seen her kind since she was a child, she is very afraid of other cats. Even a little kitten that can’t walk steadily for more than a month can scare her to fly on the spot. She is usually in good health, but whenever a cat comes to my house, she will get a minor illness due to stress after the cat leaves.
But she is not afraid of dogs, maybe because she has been living with a stupid dog for a year. Silly Dog is much older than her, but he never bullies her. Instead, he is obedient to her bullying. At first, she, like me, disliked Silly Dog very much, but Silly Dog is really warm. Gradually, she played with Silly Dog and I also liked Silly Dog. Hahaha. I am super warm to two greedy children .
3. Independence and clinginess. The tabby cat is indeed a very independent cat, but this does not mean that she is not clingy. Although she never likes to be hugged or kissed by me, every time after I force her to suck, she always has an expression of “ah, I am not clean anymore”. But to be honest, isn’t the fun of raising a cat this kind of pleasure of forcing good people to prostitute themselves? Hahaha, the more she resists, the more excited I am. I turn into a beast and bury my face in her furry, soft belly with a faint cat smell (smells good), take a deep breath – it feels good! In fact, she is very dependent on me, but cats are not as enthusiastic and emotional as dogs. Cats are sensitive and delicate, and their dependence on you is in the details. For example, I usually get off work at 5:30 and get home at 6 o’clock. But cats have no concept of time, and they don’t know what time it is. So my silly cat would wait for me on the windowsill from 4 o’clock.
My landlord lives upstairs from me, and she told me that as long as I come back, basically the whole building knows that I’m back, because my silly cat would scream with great joy on the windowsill until I opened the door and went into the house and held her in my arms. She doesn’t like to be held by me, but every time I get home from work, she will take the initiative to ask me to hold her and pet her. – Although she will dislike me again three minutes later. Sometimes I work overtime or have dinner together and come home late. From the surveillance, I saw that she has been sitting on the windowsill and looking down, from 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock, always on the windowsill, lying down when she is tired, and sitting up again after lying for a long time, just waiting for me. It’s uncomfortable to think about it. She is only a part of my world, but I am everything to her.
