The tabby cat is a female, named Wanzi. I picked her up downstairs and was sterilized after the first estrus period.

She is not that naughty. Although she bites people, she doesn’t bite. At most, if you make her angry, she will pretend to bite and open her mouth. If you really put your hand close to her, she will turn her head away.

If she is energetic, it feels okay. She eats all day and sleeps after eating. Compared with the two American shorthairs left at home, she is not energetic.

Her main shortcomings are as follows:

cowardly and talkative. I have never seen such a cowardly cat!

During the National Day holiday, my sister’s friend entrusted her dog to us to take care of. This guy howled as soon as he saw the dog. I guess he thinks he is very awesome and can scare the dog away, but he never gets close to the puppy.

Every time someone comes to the house, he will run upstairs frantically, and then lie on the stairs secretly and look down. Just like this:

This is not the most cowardly. The most cowardly thing is that before it was neutered, it often fought with another American shorthair at home. Although it fled every time, it was still calm. Since it was neutered, every time it was chased by someone, it would piss directly… The urine would just spurt out.

But the problem is that there are two American shorthairs at home, one male and one female, and they both have good tempers. The female one is particularly gentle. Every time the tabby cat provokes her, she will hold her head firmly with her claws and will not fight back. Because the male one is more majestic, the tabby cat generally does not dare to provoke it, and can only sneak up and step on it a few times when it falls asleep to vent its anger. In theory, there is no problem with this. But the bad thing is the tabby cat’s mouth. Every time this male American shorthair passes by, it will growl at people, which will immediately anger the male American shorthair, and he will definitely chase and fight.

2. Strong jealousy is the second disadvantage.

Because the tabby cat is relatively small, it often fights with American shorthairs and does not gain any benefits, so the family protects it more. At night, it sleeps on the bed, while the other two wander around the living room. When the sun rises, the two go into the room to take a nap, while the tabby cat stays on the bed, and whoever comes up to it will fight.

My sister usually loves to hold it the most, probably because the tabby cat has been with us since it was very young, and it doesn’t resist when we hold it. The other two American shorthairs were bought from a pet store, and they are not allowed to be held. But sometimes we can hold it and touch it. At this time, if we turn our heads back a little, we can find that the tabby cat is squatting behind a piece of furniture, sticking its head out to look at the scene.

If my sister goes up to pet it at this time, it will definitely resist.

3. Pretending to be weak, a scheming bitch

Every time they fight, it will bark before the male American shorthair bites it, and the bark is so miserable that it makes people cry. We are all shocked and think it will die soon, but when we run out to see, it is fine.

Every time my sister touches it or calls it with that kind of nickname, it never barks normally, but always barks in a cute and coquettish way, making you feel that you are not a human if you don’t hold it in your arms.

After the sterilization, my sister was afraid that it would feel uncomfortable and put pressure on its wound, so she held it like a child, gently supporting its back and letting it nestle in her arms. Later, when my sister wanted to wash up, she asked me to hold it, but I really didn’t dare to move, for fear that if I moved, it would hurt it and get upset. Later, it opened its eyes and found that it was not my sister, and cried miserably, so my sister took it back. Only my nephew has been treated this way.

Generally speaking, my tabby cat has the above shortcomings.
