The tabby cat Tangtang I picked up (1)
Thank you for the invitation. But I am not sure if I am qualified to answer this question, because the color of my cat is like this
. So I went to check the information, and I think I am barely qualified. Because tabby is a breed, and calico is a color. Tabby cats pay more attention to the raccoon than the flower, and calico is a common color in most breeds, such as British shorthair, Garfield, etc. Based on my observation and understanding of her, I think she is a tabby cat, just not so standard.
I believe that most domestic tabby cats are picked up. After all, few people sell them. They can be seen everywhere in the streets and alleys, and the profit is very small. My Tangtang was picked up by me. It was a dark and windy night. To be exact, it was September 26, 2016. The temperature suddenly dropped that day. When I got off work at night, I found a kitten frozen at the door of the unit, so I took her home. Before I took her home, I first took her to the office and stroked her until she regained consciousness. At the same time, I made a great decision and finally decided to take her home, because I think that if you keep a pet, you have to be responsible for it. It will take up some of my time, energy and money. It is not something that you can just keep for a while and then throw away when you don’t like it.
On the way home, she started purring. I have never kept a cat, nor do I have any plans to keep a cat, let alone the knowledge reserve. So based on my life experience, I accurately judged that this cat had a respiratory disease, but since I decided to keep her, I would treat the disease, after all, it didn’t look serious.

She was not very dirty. Cats have strong self-management abilities. Stray dogs are generally dirty, but stray cats are okay, but they also need to take a bath and trim their nails first. They are very well-behaved and did not scratch or bite me. She was so well-behaved that I thought she was abandoned for a long time, until I met a truly abandoned cat and found that she was really wild.
It seems that the answer has gone off track, but it is not. Since I am talking about the experience of raising a tabby cat, I think the experience I just mentioned is not available in raising other breeds of cats.
She is very healthy and has almost never been sick. After being sterilized, she recovered quickly. She recovered from ringworm in two weeks. Of course, it is also due to my early discovery and good choice of medicine.
She is very alert to strangers. When someone comes to the house, she disappears. She especially doesn’t like being petted by outsiders. Even my wife and I can’t pet her for more than one minute, otherwise she will bite people, just gently.
She is clingy. No matter where you are, you will definitely be within her sight, especially when taking a bath or going to the toilet, she will stare at you, looking very worried, and stamp her feet when she is happy or looking forward to it, which is very cute. I was on a business trip for half a year before. At that time, I had just married my wife. Fortunately, there was Tangtang. In my wife’s original words, there is a feeling of being protected. You say she is clingy, but she is very cold. When you call her, she will pay attention to you, look at you, move her tail, and then there is nothing else.
She was so playful that her tail was hit by a wooden board once. Since then, she has restrained herself, but she is still naughty.
She brought me good luck and good mood. I was still single when I brought her home. Six months later, I had a girlfriend. One and a half years later, I got married. Two and a half years later, I became a father, which is one month later. I have always believed that if you can’t raise a cat well, you can’t raise a child. Regularly clean the fur, mop the floor, shovel cat litter, feed food and water, and play with it. That’s all. Compared with raising a child, it’s really a small case, but when I do these little things, I have hope and confidence in the future and full of positive energy. It seems that there is no logic, but it really happened to me.
On the surface, I saved her, but in fact, she saved me.
On the surface, she is just a little mean cat, but in fact, she is noble, because someone loves her and she knows how to give back.
I never thought that I would like cats so much before. This is how fate arranges it. I believe in fate.
