The tabby cat has the strongest disease resistance and tolerance among all the cats I know.
I know this question. The tabby cat has the strongest disease resistance and tolerance among all the cats I know. On March 10, 2020 last year, I picked up a little local cat. I don’t know if it is purebred. It is so small and looks like three or four months old. I took it to the hospital for a check-up and they said that the cat should be half a year old. It has been malnourished since it was a stray. An antibody test showed that the antibodies for feline plague, feline rhinotracheitis, and calicivirus were all positive. It does not need to be vaccinated with a triple vaccine, and one shot a year is enough. In other words, this malnourished and weak kitten was infected with feline plague, feline rhinotracheitis, and calicivirus in the wild in the winter during the epidemic in Shenyang, but it survived all of them by itself, but had more serious ear mites.
I cleaned it and bought cleaning solution. It was completely healed after a few washes when I came back. Regarding food, because this is the first time I have raised this cat, and it was during the epidemic, so I bought some chicken at the beginning, mixed it with cornmeal, pumpkin, and beef. It was a little constipated at first, but I fed it with Mommy Love every day and it was fine in about a week. Later, my wife suggested changing the pet food, and it started to grow wildly. Now it has grown into a greasy big man.

It was the first day I brought it home. I finally had a warm home.
Let me tell you about another cat. The cats at my mother-in-law’s house are all free-range in the countryside. We put food and water at home, and then let them run wild. We deworm and vaccinate them regularly. There is a little black cat, a female cat, which ran away and was lost for four days. It usually comes back at night or in the morning. This one came back on the fifth day. It ran back on its own after being abused. When it first came back, I thought it was to see its owner for the last time because its injuries were too serious.
It had burns on its body and its tail had several peeling wounds, which should have been caused by a shovel. Its whole head was swollen, and it was breathing heavily. All four paws were burned, and two of them were already oozing pus. One of its legs had a similar injury to the glove. I guess one of its legs was tied, and the cat peeled off a layer of skin when it broke free, and its ears were damaged.
I won’t post the other pictures because they are too cruel. I have a strong psychological quality and can’t bear to watch them. But this cat survived tenaciously at my mother-in-law’s house. It’s impossible to see a veterinarian in the countryside, so I called the veterinarian here and asked him to use iodine to disinfect, buy anti-inflammatory drugs and wound healing drugs online, and use nutrient solution to increase immunity, nutrition, and appetite. For the first three days, it was only disinfected with iodine and could not eat but only drink water. My mother-in-law used a syringe to inject milk every day. Fortunately, it did not get infected and had a fever in the past few days. I started taking the medicine when it arrived and feeding it the nutrient solution.
On the second day of feeding the nutrient solution, it started to eat chicken liver on its own initiative. It urinated a lot on the kang that day, which scared me. I thought it was dying. In reply, when I asked about the situation during the video call, he said he urinated on his own initiative, which was not a big problem, but I was still very worried. He was able to defecate the next day after eating chicken liver, and I finally put my mind at ease. Later, the festering claws were thoroughly cleaned with hydrogen peroxide, and then disinfected with iodine three times a day, plus wound healing medicine and oral anti-inflammatory drugs. He is recovering very well now. He no longer wants to eat chicken liver and wants to eat cat food on his own initiative. The cat food at my mother-in-law’s house is quite ordinary. In order to recover better, my wife bought imported cat food, but it will not be shipped until after New Year’s Day, so these few days won’t make a difference. Now it seems that full recovery is only a matter of time. I just hope that there will be no more psychopaths who do such inhumane things to these animals.

I have nothing to say. The cat at my mother-in-law’s house, which was abused by someone unknown, has recovered a lot. I didn’t expect it to recover so quickly. Now only the leg that was tied with a rope has not fully recovered. Because of the burns and beatings on the ear, a large area of necrosis has occurred. When my mother-in-law touched the head, she accidentally knocked off a small piece of the ear, which made the cat angry and ignored her for a day. A few days ago, I started thinking about running outside every day. I really didn’t learn my lesson. I originally thought about going home after the Chinese New Year to hold a wedding and visit the cat by the way. I didn’t expect the epidemic to recur this year. Alas, I can only continue to stay in Nanjing.
