My tabby cat has too many advantages.
A child who has grown up dealing with tabby cats
will find it difficult to like foreign cats such as golden and silver tabby cats when he grows up.
It’s not that the cat is not like this cat, but it feels like they are two different species.
1. Vitality
It can eat whatever people eat. If you get some leftovers and pour some fish soup, it can eat more deliciously than anyone else. Sometimes in winter, the rice is frozen and hard to chew, and the elderly at home forget to feed it. It can also catch mice and birds by itself. Anyway, it has the ability. There is
a big tabby cat in my hometown. It is fatter than an ordinary puppy and has a strong vitality. Once it was bitten by a snake while playing with it. The snake is called pheasant neck in our local area. The triangular head is very poisonous. The cat bit it and spit white foam. We all thought it was going to die. Unexpectedly, it lay on the broken sofa in the yard and drank boiled water for a week, and it survived!

Compared with those foreign cats in China now, which can’t eat this or that, and often get sick and go to the pet hospital to spend thousands of dollars, our tabby cat is really easy to raise.
2. Productivity
I must make a statement: cats are not pets, cats are not pets, cats are not pets.
Cats are an important productivity in our rural areas!
We grow corn in the north, and every household has a large corn barn, so every family will raise a cat, no matter what color the cat is, its main job is to catch mice.
Among them, the one that impressed me the most was the tabby cat, because he was really handsome, with black claws and black ears. He looked fat but very flexible. When I was sitting in the yard in a daze, he didn’t know where he came out, holding his trophy in his mouth. He walked to my side and glanced at me, as if showing off to me.
The mice in the countryside are cunning, alert, and ferocious. They are terrorists that can be crushed by foreign pet cats, but they are never the opponents of tabby cats.
3. Smart
Tabby cats are much smarter than all the foreign cats I have ever seen.
When I grew up, I also raised one, also with black claws. I called it Afu, the black tiger Afu!
Afu’s intelligence is reflected in all aspects.
I thought it was a hassle to teach a cat to walk in the city, but I didn’t expect him to learn it after just one teaching.
My mother couldn’t bear to beat him when he made mistakes, so she would only let me beat him. Later, he developed a conditioned reflex. When I raised my hand, he would shrink his neck, squint his eyes, and prepare for the beating. But Afu never ran away, probably because he knew I wouldn’t really hit him hard.
There is also the matter of trimming his nails. Afu is very resistant to trimming his nails, but even though I trimmed his nails very carefully every time, he would meow in pain. Sometimes, before I even started trimming, he would pretend to start meowing.
When people come to my house, Afu will also give me face. This rebellious son will cooperate with my calls, and then reluctantly pet the guests. Of course, I will reward him with some snacks afterwards.
4. Loyalty
Compared to many cases where cats are not familiar with each other, the relationship between Afu and me can be said to be as close as that between father and son.
Every summer, my thighs are scratched by Afu because he often jumps on my legs when I play games. Although I have warned him many times, he is willing to lie in my arms. He
also likes to lie on me when he goes to bed at night. It is okay in winter because this small stove can warm my body. In summer, it is really hard to describe. Sometimes when I turn over in sleep, he presses me under my body, and he dare not scratch me. He just meows in grievance and kicks me to wake me up.
…
There are too many advantages of the tabby cat to list in one go,
so I’m going to criticize one and praise the other!
I really don’t understand why people spend a lot of money to buy foreign cats, and why they look at the golden and silver shades, and the appearance, etc., what’s the point! Are
those creatures that stare at you blankly with big eyes and only seek you for food really worthy of being called cats?
Obviously, our little native cats are smarter than these foreign species, have stronger vitality, can get closer to you, become your good friends, are more loyal, more flexible and agile, and can better reflect all the advantages and beauty of the cat species.
Why are so many people keen on raising foreign cats?
Is it because the stupid cats from abroad are nobler than our domestic cats?
How can we cultivate them?
