My American shorthair cat is calm and quiet, while the British shorthair cat is lively and naughty. (2)
When you mop the floor, it chases the mop. It is not afraid of running to the bathroom even if the floor is wet. It will not leave unless you sprinkle a lot of water on itself. It will provoke big cats for no reason, and then be chased and beaten. When you clean its poop, it jumps into the litter box and twists around.
You have to be cautious when raising a second cat. When I first brought Jiaozi home, Baozi was a little jealous and would not let me touch it or come to me. Later I learned that cats have a strong sense of territory. Then I locked Jiaozi on the balcony, leaving a gap so that they could get familiar with each other. When there are people at home, I let Jiaozi out. The two of them play in the living room. They bite and fight, but as long as there are people, they will not go too far and can be stopped in time. Never be mean to the natives. Don’t touch Baozi with the hands that have touched Jiaozi. At night, Jiaozi sleeps on the balcony, and Baozi sleeps with me and my husband. This went on for a week, with intermittent playing in between. Then the two got familiar with each other, and just played together without fighting.

When the little one just came back, he was a little partial to the big one, also because the little one loves to grab things too much. No matter what the little one is interested in, he will go and do it directly, including food and play. The big one will just watch from the side. Then when he eats canned food, I will call the big one into the bedroom and feed the big one the can first, and give the rest to the small one. Later, I found that the small one had ear mites and ringworm, so I felt very sorry for it and stopped being partial to it. I fed the two together in the cat bowl, but the little one ate too fast and would grab the food after eating. I simply poured the can on my hands and used both hands I feed one cat at a time with each hand, and when the little one finishes eating and rushes to eat, I can just lift it aside.
New cats must be examined when they arrive home. My big cat was bought in the countryside. It is very healthy and strong. It is also my first time to keep a cat. I only know that it has been vaccinated. After observing it for a while and feeling that it is quite healthy, I did not do a physical examination. Fortunately, it is really healthy. However, the second one was not so lucky. It was bought in a family cattery and vaccinated. However, I found that it had ear mites when I brought it home, so I quickly isolated it and treated the ear mites. Then, because I had the big cat, I was worried, so I gave the kitten a physical examination and found that it also had ringworm, so I continued to treat the ringworm. Anyway, there were some twists and turns, but fortunately, it persisted and it became a healthy, lively and very playful cat.
Ear mites and ringworm really don’t happen at all. It’s terrible. Although they are contagious, and ringworm in cats may also be contagious to humans, but if you do a good job of cleaning, let the cats get more sun, supplement nutrition, and improve resistance, these are not a problem. Don’t abandon them because of minor injuries or illnesses. The younger one has ear mites and ringworm, and I didn’t completely isolate it. I cleaned the ears of the younger one before letting it out, and sprayed iodine on its body. Then the two of them would play under my sight. I need to increase the amount of exercise and prevent them from licking each other’s fur. I disinfected both of them before going out, mopped the floor, sprayed disinfectant,
fed them medicine, and disinfected my body. It was all half-enticement and half-forcement. After I finished all these tasks for them, the adult cats and the kittens would run away while meowing when they saw me walking in their direction. They both kissed my husband, but this didn’t affect my love for them.
