. However. However. However. After the novelty period, even this has become a small problem. Our Yuki has to play with me for at least half an hour every day. If you don’t play with her, she will look at you and keep crying like a spoiled child. Later, she developed the habit of going out and patrolling the corridor. I would stand at the door and wait for you to go out and stroll with her. If you don’t do it, she will keep crying until you give in. When I get home from work at about six or seven o’clock, when I collapse on the bed due to exhaustion, Yuki will keep circling around you and crying for you to play with her. After playing for half an hour, she is tired. I get up and make dinner for myself and lunch for the next day. After dinner at nine o’clock, I want to watch a TV show or play on the computer. When she wakes up, she starts to act like a spoiled child again, asking for touches, companionship, and going out for a stroll. If you don’t agree, she will cry like a spoiled child. . . (It really feels like I have a girlfriend, but I am also a girl…)

I have to clean and take a shower at 10 o’clock. It is impossible not to be peeped at, and it is impossible not to be allowed to go to the bathroom. Unless she is angry, it is impossible for her to keep a distance of more than 1 meter from me or a door between us. At 11 o’clock, I will stroke her and accompany her because she will go to bed. If I lie on the bed and play with my phone, she will rub her head between me and the phone. If I use the computer, she will sit on the keyboard and block the screen. In short, she will do everything possible to attract your attention so that she is the only cat in your world.

After one year old, Yuki began to be sensible. After I pushed her away, she would lie down behind the computer and sleep aggrievedly. Occasionally, she would open her eyes and look at me. When I called her several times but I didn’t show up to play with her, she would find her favorite little mouse from the pile of toys and entertain herself for a while.

Yuki in our home has almost never had soft stools. She has always been fed the cat food recommended by the cattery. After changing to canned food as the main food, everything went smoothly. Except for a period of time when I bought cat food with a chicken flavor on a whim and fed her soft stools for a period of time, she has never had soft stools again.

Before I got a cat, I heard that ragdoll cats are like little angels, with good looks and good personalities. However, after living with Yuki for more than half a year, the novelty has worn off, so I am writing this answer to tell you that the little angel is also a cat. She has the temper and habits of a cat. You may be able to trim her claws smoothly, but she may still scratch you accidentally. She may fall down with a gentle push and let you pet her, but she may also be unhappy and don’t let you touch her. She is not stupid, she is just more generous and tolerant than other cats. She doesn’t like water or bathing, so please try to keep the house clean. Combing her hair is just acceptable. Combing twice a day is much better than combing her hair once a month. She will vomit hair when she is soft, and sometimes run wild in the middle of the night. If you force her to do something she doesn’t like, she will resist. When she is anxious, she will bite you gently and scream in grievance.

It is precisely because Ragdoll is such a gentle and tolerant cat that I hope you can be gentle and tolerant to it. Don’t think that it must be easy to pet, clingy and obedient just because it is famous. It is not a little slave who can be summoned and dismissed at will. It is a roommate, a partner, and a living little life with its own personality. I wish

all masters and shit shovelers can be healthy and happy.

Yuki’s cute photos are here to decorate the post.

I originally wanted to put only one photo, but I couldn’t help it. Hahahahahaha. . . My cat is too cute. . .
