I have a British shorthair, a male cat named Mei Chaofeng. Scroll down to see the picture. I will first answer my personal experience with British shorthairs.
I have summarized some of your experiences:
1-Big skeleton, for British shorthair male cats. I am not sure about female cats, you can add to it. My cat is about 5 months old and 3.6 kg. He really doesn’t eat anything. I feed him about 65G of food every day. I make some cat food for him once a week when I am in a good mood. It is mainly beef. I have never given him canned snacks or the like.
2-No meowing. British shorthairs are really quiet and usually don’t meow. They just hum twice, and the sound is very small.
3-Curious. They have to smell and turn over everything. Of course, as a cat, curiosity is a characteristic of the cat race.
4-Clingy. He hides on the first day after arriving home, and starts to rub against people on the second day after patrolling the house with his tail up. Basically, he follows you wherever you go in the morning.
The following is my experience, which is an individual case
. 1-I like plastic bags, toilet paper, strings and all other things that can be shaken. I especially like to bite toilet paper randomly, and the paper pieces fly everywhere. If the string is shaken, it will bite, but not if it is not shaken.
2-Not picky about food. There is basically no type of cat food that it will not eat. I don’t like chicken breast, but if I make it, I am really hungry and have nothing else, so I will eat it in the end. Probiotic powders, etc., can be sprinkled on cat food and eaten, and there is no need to move them to wet food. Fish oil, just pour a spoonful and feed it.
3-A cat that loves to drink water. As a cat, you really don’t have to worry about not drinking water if you eat a few mouthfuls of food and drink a few sips of water.
4-Extremely lively. Love to jump, run and jump, and can jump for an hour with a cat teaser. He doesn’t eat and runs to play. Except for sleeping, it is impossible for him to lie still in one place. I don’t know if his personality will change after sterilization.
5-Observe and learn silently. Sliding door, I watched it several times, and if the door is light, it will open by itself. He was punished for the problem of going to bed, and he knows very well where his nest is. When it is time to sleep, he will jump onto his nest in the bay window to sleep, but he will still go to bed in the morning to wake up his owner
. 6-No memory. Mainly after being beaten, he would start to hide when he knew that his owner was angry and was going to beat him. When he got home from work, he would come up again. He forgets quickly.
7-He has never been sick so far. He changed the environment after just a few days, and he had a little stress reaction. There was ringworm on the top of his head, in 2 small places. I didn’t go to the hospital, but used some Futopaja spray, and crushed the vitamin B every day and mixed it in the food or nutritional paste to feed it. It disappeared after a few days. He has never been sick so far. He is in good health.

about 2 months ago, just arrived home 4 months ago. The expression of trying to get into the room at
4 months old . 3.4kg 5 months ago. Updated 6 months ago. The weight has soared to 3.9kg. Likes to hide in a crowded corner to sleep. If you are next to him when he sleeps, he will stretch out his paw to pat your head. Likes to be touched on the head and chin. Holds my doll and occupies the small basket where I put my clothes. Eats things with an ecstatic expression.
