I also have a poodle at home. It was 6 months old when it first came to my home. I also have a poodle at home. It is a male dog, 8 years old this year. It was 6 months old when it first came to my home.
Poodles are just a kind of dog. Some poodles are disobedient, while some poodles are very obedient. Just like people, there are good and bad ones. I can only say that the poodle you raised is not pleasing, and its behavior is not very pleasing. But I still have to say that poodles are really like children, and they all need to be educated from an early age.
In fact, this is also the first time I have raised a poodle. I have raised other breeds of dogs before (let’s not talk about this for now). Before I raised a poodle, I had heard of the resounding name of “Tai Ritian”, but I still decided to raise it because I liked the cute look of poodles. I named my dog Baobao. Although the name is a bit rustic, I just like to call it this way. This name also implies that it has truly become a member of our family. Our family treats it as half a child. The host said that poodles do not regard themselves as dogs but as people, and I think so too. This is true for poodles. Because they have high IQ. But I am very happy about this, because in my eyes, raising a pet is like raising half a child from the moment you decide to raise one. (I think raising a dog is much easier than raising a child)
Let me talk about my dog. When he first came, I spent an afternoon teaching him to shake hands. If I asked him to change one, he would change one. Sit down, lie down. Turn around. These basic commands, just after arriving at my house, in just one afternoon, he really knew all of them. When he first came to my house, he urinated everywhere but not defecated everywhere. I didn’t scold him, because he had just come to my house, he was only six months old and was still a puppy, and he couldn’t hold his urine at night. Whenever he urinated anywhere, I would wipe it, and he would watch me from the side. I would talk to him like a human, telling him not to urinate here anymore, and after wiping, throw the rag into the bathroom, then pick him up, point to the rag, and tell him to pee here. Two days later, he would go to the bathroom to pee by himself at night. At that time, I was really surprised. (Because my parents didn’t let me have a dog at first, saying that I didn’t do any work when I had a dog before, and they helped take care of it. They were against it when I got this poodle, so I was the only one taking care of it at first. My parents didn’t care, and they would scold me if it peed in the house.)

Speaking of Tai Ritian, when he was a child, he hugged my thighs, and I stopped him severely. He did it twice in total, and I scolded him twice. The second time I spanked him more severely. Since then, he is eight years old, and he has never “bullied the sky, the earth, and the air” to our family members and guests who come to my house. It can be seen that not all poodles are really like the rumors. It is all related to human education and its own personality. The obedient ones will be obedient, and the disobedient ones will be disobedient.
But I still insist that the degree of obedience of a dog is inseparable from the education of the owner.
My dog gets angry, loses temper, makes mistakes, and plays tricks, but it’s not a big deal. It sometimes destroys things, but at most it just scratches around. I have a friend who also has a poodle. Her poodle is too crazy. It has to be locked in a cage when no one is at home, otherwise it will pee and poop on the bed… The biggest loss my dog has caused to my family is one of my Apple headphones. When it was still young, it was left alone at home. It was angry and unhappy and looked for a way to vent. It bit the headphones I threw on the bed. This is the biggest loss. Usually it scratches the sofa and the floor mat. The marks left on the sofa are all scratched by its claws, but I can understand it, because after all, pets also need company. My family is a working-class family. My parents go to work and I go to school. There is no way to be perfect. So we don’t blame it for scratching the sofa. We just put something on the sofa. After all, it brings us the most happiness when we return home.
Now its fur has begun to turn white. The dog is eight years old and can no longer hold its urine. We walk the dog on time every day, twice a day, and it also urinates and defecates on time. What’s interesting is that when I’m not feeling well, I go downstairs to walk it and tell it to go home early today. It seems to understand that I’m not feeling well. It quickly runs around the house to defecate and urinate, and then immediately runs back to the building to wait for me. Because I know that it usually doesn’t like to come back even if it’s defecating, and especially likes to walk outside, so I’m more touched by its behavior. Although I try my best to be good to it, I still feel that it brings me far more than I can give it. There are many things that I think it can understand when we talk. On the sofa, as long as we say go on, it will go down. Sometimes it’s a bitch and doesn’t want to go, but as long as we count 1!, it will know that it’s not good and may be angry, and it will run down by itself. There are too many small things like this. In fact, if you talk about it, my dog is not particularly obedient. For example, sometimes I ask her to do something, and she knows what it is but she doesn’t want to do it. The older a dog gets, the more he has his own little thoughts and ideas. It doesn’t matter. Although it is your pet, it doesn’t mean that it must obey 100%, right?
Dogs say: Who doesn’t have a temper when they are born as dogs? In fact, they are really like children sometimes. Sometimes they are willful and sometimes naughty, but it doesn’t prevent them from loving you all their lives.
Although my dog also has a temper, at least I can say that my dog is very sensible. Okay, attach a few photos.
The two photos above were taken by me when he was sleeping a few days ago.
↓ is the previous photo.
Cute and has no bags under his eyes.
At its current age, it has already gone through more than half of its short life. I cherish the time I spend with it now. I don’t know what’s wrong with it recently. It is very attached to me. Wherever I go, it follows me. It was not like this before. I hope you can all cherish it if you raise it. Its life is only a few decades.
