Uninvited, my sister and I both really hate poodles. I

once went back to China and lived in my grandfather’s old house for about three months. The old house is located in an old community built in 1997. Most of the people living in it are retired elderly people who take care of their grandchildren and raise cats and chickens all day long. The grandmother living downstairs from my house has been raising cats at home for ten years. She even raised ducks, pigeons, quails, and the most speechless one time, she raised a pig. We tolerated all of this, really, even when his cat was in heat and kept barking all night, we tolerated it and never said anything. We would still say hello when we saw it.

It was not until those three months that I went back and found that she had a poodle!!!!! It was lame!!! It was fierce to everyone. When my mother came to pick me up, when I was still 800 meters away from home, the poodle saw me and rushed towards me with a limp. Then I walked and barked at me, and its owner, the old lady, sat far away and looked at it. It was only after my uncle drove the dog away that I returned home smoothly. Later, the dog urinated at the door of our house. My mother couldn’t stand it anymore and went to their house to talk about it, and the poodle was watched more strictly.

By the way, I am not afraid of dogs. Because there is a school in my grandfather’s community, there are many teachers living there. I have a teacher who has a small local dog at home. It is very friendly and not fierce. It often takes a walk by itself. It will act cute when it sees people we know. It doesn’t look cute and is even a little ugly, but it doesn’t stop us from playing with it. There is a Samoyed in the community. I really like Samoyeds so much that I calculate the time every day and wait on the road that Samoyed and its owner must pass by when going out. When I see it, I go over and pet it. It won’t bite me, and its owner won’t scold me. The dog is cute, and the owner is cute too.

Back to that community, my grandfather’s house is in unit 3. There is a house in unit 2 next door that has four poodles. What’s more terrible is that they don’t leash when they go out, and none of the four poodles are leash!! Just imagine that scene!! It’s terrible, really. Usually, those poodles bark crazily in the yard every day. I promise I am not exaggerating. One day I was idle at home and didn’t go out. Those dogs probably knew that I was a stranger. They started barking when I woke up at around 9 o’clock in the morning, and they kept barking until I was about to go to bed at around 10 o’clock in the evening. I went out for about two hours in the afternoon, and I don’t know if they barked. Anyway, they kept barking when I was there, and I was almost annoyed, and their owners didn’t care at home.

During those days, I walked on the road in the community and found dog shit on the sidewalk after walking a few steps. There was a lot of dog shit under the roots of the trees planted on the roadside in the middle of the street. At the same time, many middle-aged and elderly people did not tie their dogs up and walked their dogs after dinner. The whole street was full of all kinds of poodles, barking in all kinds of ways. When they fought, their owners would say a few words. Otherwise, if the dog was not tied up when walking outside, it would bark and run around everywhere. When the owner saw it, he would just say “Don’t worry, it won’t bite people”. I didn’t care! If I really got bitten, would you pay for the medical expenses?!?

My sister and I went out those days, and we could step on dog shit every few steps. And I found that people who keep Alaska, Samoyeds, and Corgis at home basically tied their dogs up when they went out for a walk. Only! Only! Poodles! They pooped, peed, and barked everywhere on the street, and their owners turned a blind eye and let them do whatever they wanted. Really, dogs are walking dogs. Poodles are black all their lives, ugly and annoying! Cute as hell!
