I have a poodle, and the more I raise it, the more I hate it.

I have a poodle, and the more I raise it, the more I hate it. My dog is almost 7 years old, and I am tired of this kind of dog. I will never raise a poodle again. The reasons are as follows:

1. It is a troublemaker. Every time I go out, it will bark and provoke other big dogs, no matter how far away they are. If someone really chases it, it will not dare to say a word and hide behind me or pull my legs to let me hug it.

2. It is especially annoying during estrus. My dog is a female dog, not as serious as a male dog, but every time it is in estrus, it can’t be controlled. Every day, its eyes are rolling around, thinking about how to find a male dog. When I take a walk, I can’t walk when I see a male dog, and I keep rubbing my butt against the male dog. When I drag it away, it will leave urine for me all the way, attracting male dogs to follow and find my house. Every time my dog is in estrus, there are male dogs outside the security door to urinate every day, and there are even male dogs waiting for it to come down for a walk at the entrance of the corridor. It got lost five times during the estrus period, most of the time it bit off the rope or sneaked out when someone opened the door and wasn’t paying attention. Two of them mated with stray dogs and ran back to give birth to one litter after another.

3. Thief, mean, and going against you. The older the poodle gets, the more cunning it becomes. When my dog was young, I trained her very well and she didn’t have any bad habits. But as she got older, she got a temper and started to go against me on purpose. For example, if I didn’t let her go to bed, she would always sneak to the bed in the guest room to sleep when I was not at home or fell asleep at night, and then jump into the doghouse to sleep before I came back or woke up. I never thought she was so cunning before, and always thought she slept in the doghouse. Later, I often found footprints on the bed. Once I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and when I passed the guest bedroom, I saw her about to jump off the bed. I touched the bed and found a hot spot, so I knew she was sleeping there, and I caught her red-handed! She can obviously understand orders, but she is mean and wants to go against me. Including the problem of rummaging through the trash can. I have beaten it many times, but I often come home to find that the dirty paper in the toilet waste basket has been taken to the bed and torn into pieces.

4. Sloppy. My own dog, as well as the dogs of friends and neighbors, as long as they are poodles, no matter whether they are raised in a poor family or a rich family, no matter how good the food they eat, they can’t change the habit of eating feces when they go out. Including taking toilet paper at home. If he sees a disgusting dead and smelly animal corpse when he goes out, he likes to lie on it and rub it. If he accidentally sees a pile of feces, he will eat it. Because of the problem of eating feces, I put a muzzle on it, but it can’t eat it, so it will lie on the feces and roll around. Every time it does this, I am so angry that I want to die.

After reading everyone’s comments, I feel that some people don’t know the situation and scold it very badly. It is necessary to explain some situations.

1. Some people blame me for not being able to train dogs. When I first brought it home, it was one and a half months old. From then on, I slowly trained it. I spent a lot of time and looked up a lot of guides. Then I spent half a year to teach it not to pee and poop at home. I still keep this good habit. How many of you can keep your dog from pooping and peeing at home? There are many other good habits that are still kept. I also keep my dog in a civilized way. I go out to pick up the poop. Even if it has diarrhea, I can pick it up cleanly. My dog and I used to be model dog owners and dogs in our community. The community aunt held meetings to educate other dog owners and used me as a positive example. So on the issue of training, it’s really not that I don’t spend time thinking about it, but it has gradually become irritable after getting older in the past one or two years.

2. About sterilization. I once thought about taking it for sterilization, but my other dog died of kidney failure less than a year after sterilization. Although there may not be a necessary connection, I dare not take this one again.

3. About the issue of making dog soup. Although it is a little bastard, I still love it.

4. I feel that all this is because the poodle breed is too smart, and the older it gets, the more cunning it is! If it is a little more naive, it probably won’t be like this. Sometimes when I get along with my dog, I have a very special feeling, that is, it thinks it is not a dog, it thinks it is a person. If I get a dog next time, I want a cute one.
