I once “successfully” angered my golden retriever.

Luckie is a dark red golden hair and loves to play with water. Every time a lot of children come to play around it, how can children pull their ears and tails and press their stomachs? . . . . . He never gets angry, but he is too tired to sleep for a long time after the children leave.

That time, many friends got together at home, and two families brought two bitches. Luckie boy was in his prime, and for the first time in history, two “chicks” of the same age came to play together at once, which made him crazy! But I didn’t realize this at all. I just thought that a friend who was allergic to dogs would come later (the air filter was always on), so I wanted to put all the dogs in the next room. Three dogs were playing wildly together, so I naturally went to pull my own dog first and went to the next room. It immediately lay down on the ground, cheated, and resolutely refused to go! I reached for its collar, and it lay on the ground, grinning at me, and ducked away with a purr in its mouth. It’s never done this to me before. I’m a little angry, too. “Hey, it’s against you”? I grabbed the collar again. As soon as it looked down on my hand, it took a bite and immediately saw blood. This made me angry and gave it a good lesson. When it saw that my hand was bleeding, it also knew that something was wrong! No matter how I punish him, he just keeps his head down and doesn’t dare to get excited any more.

I had to go to the hospital quickly. The doctor said that since the dog had been vaccinated against rabies on schedule, as long as there was no abnormality in the dog within ten days, I would have no problem. But just to be on the safe side, I was given a shot of vaccine. When I came back from the hospital with my bandaged hand, I saw Luckie lying in the middle of the room with a wronged face, and all the children were around to brush her hair and comfort her softly. Friends are overjoyed: your Luckie is so good-tempered, you can be bitten by Luckie, and you are really capable!

This situation and public opinion confused me: did my dog bite me or did I bite my dog?

From then on, as long as I put the bitten part in front of it, it immediately looked guilty, lowered its eyes and hung its tail and slowly walked away.

It took me a few days to understand how powerful this “opposites attract” is! If I had taken those two little bitches away first, Luckie would have followed. But I’ll lead him first, and he thinks I won’t let him play with the “guest dog” and want to put him in the next room alone, so it’s not urgent at once! ?

Alas, it is a pity that it got lymphoma when it was only over 8 years old, and it will not work soon. In the past, every time I came back from a business trip, it had to be blocked at the door and madly sprinkled on me for a long time, making out for a long time before letting me in. Every time I go out and go home after it’s gone, I will think of its joyful appearance. Nowadays, the foxhounds are more cute and less passionate.
