The story of me and my golden retriever Qianqian (1)

The story of me and my golden retriever Qianqian (1)

part. 1 [I want to have a dog]

I wrote in another answer that I wanted to have a dog because I was shocked by the Tianjin explosion. When I saw the news on Weibo that the Tianjin rescue team rescued a dog, I immediately thought of my long-cherished dream of having a dog named Qianqian.

Because the power of the explosion caused many lives to disappear in an instant, I didn’t know when I would suddenly die. I wanted to have a dog, so I had to get one right away.

So I decided to get a dog at noon. Through the introduction of a colleague, I went to his friend’s house to see the dog in the evening. After seeing the dog, I paid the money and took it home.

I knew nothing about dogs at that time, I didn’t understand dogs and was extremely afraid of dogs. When I went to pick it up, the dog’s father and mother were also at home. As soon as I opened the door, I was scared to death by the three dogs rushing out. I kept

hiding behind my colleague. When the dog approached me, I couldn’t help shaking and saying: Don’t come over, don’t come over. The dog owner was shocked. She said, “You still want to have a dog like this?” After she said that, I didn’t seem to be so scared anymore. Maybe it was also impulsive. I had to take it home without thinking about it.

[WeChat Moments August 14, 2015] After watching the Tianjin explosion for a whole day, I felt very depressed. With a reverent heart for life, I brought him home. He is not a pet, his name is Qianqian, he is my partner.

Part 2 [Qianqian’s life story]

Qianqian’s father is called BB, his mother is called An’an, they have a total of 8 puppies, six males and two females, Qianqian is the fourth, a male.

In fact, I don’t know which one is Qianqian23333

Qianqian’s father, with dark fur and strong body, is like two different dogs at home and outside. He is very quiet and often acts like a spoiled child at home, but when he is outside, he dare not untie the rope at will, like a wild horse out of control.

Qianqian’s mother accidentally ate rat poison and died on October 28 last year…

The dog’s soul drifts away, and the world is also worried. Where to go in the vast sky and earth, drifting wildly east and west. In the next life, I will still be a dog, and I will look back in my youth. Rest in peace, An’an.

part. 3 [Qianqian when he was a child]

Maybe it was because of my mother’s influence since

childhood. In fact, I don’t like small animals like cats and dogs, but I just want to raise a docile big dog, so I raised one. After raising a dog, I found that raising a dog is really equivalent to raising a child. You have to mop up urine and pick up feces every day, feed it three meals a day, and wipe its body every day. You have to bathe and blow its hair every ten days or half a month. Especially the golden retriever has a lot of long hair. It takes at least one or two hours to bathe each time, which is exhausting.

I raised a dog purely out of willfulness and impulse, so I never thought there would be so many troubles before raising a dog. Even so, I have no complaints, let alone a trace of regret.

My little golden retriever was more than 4 months old when I brought it home. This is what it looked like when I just brought it home. I have to say that it was really ugly at that time. I don’t know why I fell in love with you at the beginning. (However, puppies at 4 or 5 months old do have an awkward appearance…

It may be fate, or there may be no choice (because when I went there, there was only the fourth little male puppy left in the litter). Later I thought that if I knew more about dogs at the time, I might not have wanted it. But now I don’t regret it, maybe this is destined fate.

Because I didn’t know much about dogs, I didn’t notice before I brought it home that its front and back feet were splayed, its walking posture was ugly, and its movements were very slow. When I was walking the dog at that time, people always asked me if it was old. What? It was only 4 months old at that time.

I didn’t realize it at all when I first got it, and I didn’t notice that its feet were severely deformed… and it was so skinny, which was so sad.

Some people even said that it lacked calcium, congenital dysplasia, and suspected CHD (CHD analysis source Baidu – symptoms: the dog’s hind legs will shake when walking, it is difficult to turn on the ground and stand, the hind legs concentrate on one foot to apply force and the muscles of the other foot atrophy, and it is unable to stand and move; common in large dogs, especially golden retrievers, Labrador dogs, Huskies, wolfhounds, etc.).

Some people even said that my dog was useless (I was disgusted by the person who said this later!!).

At that time, there were really all kinds of things said. In fact, I knew in my heart that Qianqian was not a “good dog” in the standard sense. So no matter what others said, I didn’t get angry or argue. Every time I just smiled and didn’t say anything.

Because Qianqian was really not very good at that time, I made the worst psychological preparation-if it was disabled, I would keep it for life.
