Daily care of golden retriever Coke

Now Coke is almost 6 years old. He knows simple commands like sit, get up, lie down, play dead, don’t move, shake hands, eat, come in, go out, come here. If he goes out to smell garbage, he will come over immediately. For his safety, he will be tied with a leash every time he goes out, even if it is just at the door, to prevent him from eating randomly and running to the road.

He has a fixed range of activities and will be called back if he exceeds it. It is best to bring a leash and don’t let the dog get close to others, children and the elderly. Many times, some things cannot be explained clearly, which is good for you and others.

He has a special hobby, that is, he must eat grass every time he goes out, and he has to eat for a long time, like the action of sheep eating grass, and he is picky. This taste is not good, don’t want it, that taste is the same as yesterday, that’s it!

At first, I would stop him, but later, every time he went out to relieve himself, he would eat grass, so I didn’t stop him. Now he is almost two years old, and I found that there is no problem with eating grass, so I didn’t stop him.

I forgot to mention the vaccination. After Coke came home and confirmed that he was not sick for half a month, he started to receive vaccinations. Three shots for parvovirus and one shot for rabies. The four shots added up to almost two months. After that, he started to deworm, which also took almost a month. After that, he had to be vaccinated with rabies every eleven months (interval between two shots). In fact, I restricted his range of activities because I was afraid that there were too many viruses outside and it was dangerous.

Goat milk powder can cause a little heat, so I wipe his eye mucus every morning, whether there is any, I wipe it without interruption for three and a half years. Now his eyes are very clean without any tear marks.

Stomach discomfort is reflected in diarrhea. If it comes out like foamy water, then I feed him a few meals of Mommy Love, which is a stomach-regulating food for children, and the effect is very good. If the stool is very dry, it means that it eats too little, and if it is wet, it eats too much.

Our Coke defecates twice a day, at noon and at night. And it is not in its own range of activities.

Cut nails at fixed times, don’t cut too much, many times I cut too much and blood flows all over the floor.

The house is cleaned and flushed frequently. The blankets are washed frequently. Four blankets are enough for it to change. Every time I clean, I disinfect its nest.

I touch it every day to see if there are ticks. If there are, I will deal with them immediately.

I take a bath twice a month. I go to the bathroom to open the bathroom heater and use the water heater to wash. After washing, I wipe the water and close it on the balcony for a while. It doesn’t like the sound of the hair dryer, so it will hide. My mother said that a dog has been treated as a human, with good food and a water heater.

It likes to eat cantaloupe, durian, oranges, grass, and steamed buns, but it is not so interested in other things. It

used to like to eat paper and was beaten by me many times. Now it won’t eat anything randomly as long as I am around.

Sometimes it hides in the corner and chews something loudly. I will tell it to spit, and it dares not chew anymore. It will sit stupidly and let me break things out of its mouth.

When it is acting coquettish, it will run directly to me and lie down. It is telling you: Come and touch me, I am lying down, come quickly…

I bought it a lot of toys, and it likes to bite and rub my hands, asking me to play with it. Then you have to go outside and throw the toy far away for it to pick up. You throw it out again and it picks it up again.

In fact, golden retrievers are really energetic. Don’t be fooled by its angelic side.

Also, Coke is never picky about food. Sometimes when there is no dog food, he will just eat white rice and eat it very happily.

Finally, I want to say that golden retrievers may eat more than pigs. Maybe not just possible, but probably!
