My Samoyed - Yogurt

My Samoyed – Yogurt

My boyfriend and I have always loved dogs. We have finally graduated and everything has settled down. Since I am a teacher and I like running, my boyfriend wants to have a dog to accompany me when he is on a business trip or when I am running.

On December 17, 2017, we went to the pet store to choose a dog. We also liked a Samoyed. Its two little eyes kept staring at us, without barking or making any noise. Of course, my boyfriend paid a deposit and decided to take it home. At that time, the puppy had a cold, and the boss told us to pick it up in a week.

On December 24, 2017, we finally brought Yogurt home. In order to welcome Yogurt home, we bought a cage, a dog electric blanket, a mat, a blanket, a dog food and water bowl, and named it Yogurt. From

December 24, 2017 to January 1, 2018, Yogurt spent 9 days in our house. Because Yogurt was more than 2 months old, we were afraid that Yogurt would be cold, so we would turn on the air conditioner in the morning before going to work, and put Yogurt in our bedroom when we went to bed at night. I remember that I rushed home without stopping after work on the first day, for fear that something might happen to Yogurt. Of course, my boyfriend later bought a camera for Yogurt to monitor whether it had any problems at home. For a week, Yogurt was very cute. Except for barking when he was hungry, he was very sensible at other times. Although I have not been able to train him to go to the toilet at a designated place, I have to mop the floor N times every day;

On January 1, 2018, I took Yogurt to get the third shot of vaccination at noon while it was slightly warm. Yogurt was still very excited~

On the night of January 1, 2018, Yogurt usually plays until about 10 o’clock before going back to the nest to sleep. He was not energetic that night. My boyfriend and I thought he was tired from playing and left him alone.

On January 2, 2018, I usually get up on time at 6:30 in the morning to cook for Yogurt. This morning, Yogurt did not call. I cooked for him as usual, but found that he did not eat. I quickly asked the owner of the pet store. The owner said that he needed to be observed for a while. As long as his bowel movements were normal, his nose was cool, and he did not have a fever, there should be no problem. Then my boyfriend and I went to work. During the process, we found that Yogurt had not moved through the camera. My boyfriend was so anxious that he went home immediately from the company and took it to the pet hospital for various examinations. The result was positive for parvovirus. The doctor suggested to observe because he was not sure whether it was caused by the vaccine or parvovirus. Yogurt was still sleeping when he got home. He still didn’t eat when he got home at night. He occasionally drank some water and his bowel movements were still normal. My boyfriend and I were observing and anxious at the same time.

At 4 o’clock in the morning on January 3, 2018, I was awakened by the sound of Yogurt vomiting. I got up to see Yogurt. He walked to the position of defecation and had blood in his stool. My boyfriend and I panicked and immediately took a taxi to the pet hospital. Yogurt was very well behaved along the way. We rushed to the hospital 20 minutes later. The hospital did a test and said that it was confirmed to be parvovirus. The doctor also said it was acute or something, which was the highest level. Looking at Yogurt in my arms, I was really distressed. In the end, Yogurt went through the hospitalization procedures. It cost about 2,000 yuan in total. For us who just graduated, it is a bit false to say that we don’t feel sorry for the money, but after all, we feel more sorry for Yogurt.

It was raining and windy in Nanjing in the early morning of January 3rd. I finally couldn’t control myself and cried like an idiot on the street after I walked out of the door of the pet store. I felt really sorry for Yogurt. I took a taxi home and my tears didn’t stop. When I got home, my boyfriend finally couldn’t control himself and kept crying while holding me. We hadn’t taken Yogurt to the Olympic Sports Center for jogging, hadn’t brought Yogurt into our new home, and hadn’t taken Yogurt out to see the world. I

reluctantly washed and went to work. When I got to school, I heard that a teacher was hospitalized because of uterine fibroids and was in danger of her life. The New Year has just begun, and there are so many bad news.

I wrote this article in the hope that friends who also have dogs can communicate with each other~~

Finally, I really hope that my Yogurt will get better~
