In the day – to – day companionship with this lovely cat at home, I often wonder whether it is a Siamese cat or not. Although it’s hard to be certain, upon careful observation, many of its characteristics are extremely similar to those of Siamese cats. It can even be said to be a “dog among cats”.
From the moment I welcomed it into the house, it showed extraordinary vitality. At that time, it was less than two months old, with a small figure, as big as my palm. Its cute and soft appearance was really endearing. When I fed it goat milk powder, it was not interested at all, but had a special preference for meat, as if proclaiming: “Hey, the one who scoops the litter! I’m old enough to eat meat. What’s the use of drinking milk!” Its stubborn little personality was revealed from the very beginning.
As time passed, it became more and more lively and active. Every day, it was like a small motor full of electricity, starting a crazy running – around – the – house mode at home, jumping up and down, and having a great time. As soon as I move, it follows me closely like a loyal little guard. Wherever I go, it goes. When there are people at home, it is even more enthusiastic. It either climbs onto my lap to act coquettishly or climbs up and down beside me, constantly circling around people. That affectionate manner warms my heart. What’s more interesting is that it can play with its own tail like a little dog, chasing it round and round, looking extremely cute. I had only seen such a unique behavior in little dogs before.

Its independence is also amazing. Even if I’m too busy to play with it, it can still enjoy itself. Under its “control”, the cat teaser becomes the most interesting toy, and it can play with it alone with great pleasure, showing good self – care ability. However, it also has a little temper. If I don’t interact with it for a long time, it will start the “depression” mode, acting coquettishly in various ways to seek attention, rubbing against my feet and making soft cries, making it impossible for me to refuse.
I remember once, when I was reading quietly, it jumped onto the table. Looking at me who was reading seriously, it actually showed a look of disdain, as if saying: “Hey, the one who scoops the litter, you don’t even play with me. Humph!” That little expression was just like that of a sulking child, making people laugh.
In daily life, it is also a “little expert at mopping the floor”. Sometimes it runs around on the freshly mopped floor, leaving a series of unique wet footprints on the floor, as if painting a picture of its own. It will also surprise me from time to time, suddenly coming over to kiss me. The soft little tongue licking on my face makes me feel itchy, full of love.
Now, it has grown up a lot. It is no longer the little cute pet it used to be, but has become a slightly “greasy” “uncle”. But its charm has not diminished at all. When acting coquettishly, it will rub its little head against my hand, looking at me with watery eyes, melting my heart instantly. When showing off its coolness, it will walk around the house with its head held high, showing a different kind of confidence and elegance.
Although I’m not sure whether it is a pure – bred Siamese cat, what does it matter? In the days spent with it, it has brought me endless joy and warmth in its own unique way. Every move and every moment of its company make me more deeply understand that it has long become an indispensable part of my life. Unconsciously, I love this special little guy more and more, looking forward to spending more wonderful times with it and continuing to write the warm and interesting stories between us.
