The Lovely Personalities of My Three Cats

The Lovely Personalities of My Three Cats

Dada! Our only little princess in the family is named Duoduo. (Because we really have quite a few pets.) Although this photo makes her look very gentle, that’s because she was having a great time at that moment. The normal way she looks is like this.

My partner asked me to choose, but I said no. Since the two male cats at home were chosen by me, I told him to choose. Then he took a fancy to her at the first sight. It really proves the saying that the cat you hold is like you. Oh my god, her temper is exactly the same as my partner’s. For example, when my partner wants to hold the cat, the two elder brothers are reluctant but will let him hold for a while and then run away as soon as he loosens his hands. (I’m just like that. When my partner and I quarrel and he tries to coax me, I will start a long – lasting cold war after he leaves. Because when my partner gets angry, his staring eyes are really scary.) But my little girl is different.

When my partner stares at her, she stares back. Once they even had a fight. Because she was stubborn, my partner firmly pinched her neck to scare her. Of course, I took her away and scolded my partner when I found out. But her temper really gives me a headache. Usually, it’s okay. But when it comes to things like taking medicine or getting an injection, oh my god, I can’t hold her down by myself at all. She just won’t eat. If you force her to eat, even if she swallows it, once you let go, she will definitely vomit it up. She can even smell a little bit of medicine in delicious food. And then she won’t eat for a whole day. It makes me feel so sad. I had no choice but to send her to my mom’s house to get injections instead. One day, I had something to do at work, and my mom and my brother gave her the injection. My mom told me, “Don’t look at her being small, she’s really smart. She didn’t recognize your brother and me all day, but she let us give her the injection. And she didn’t meow for a long time like she does when you’re at home. When I went to see her at night, she meowed at me for a long time. She was probably complaining about us.”

Normally, Simba is the most clingy to me. He really has the demeanor of an elder brother, always giving in to his younger brother and sister. Every time I go to work, it’s like a life – and – death farewell for him. He doesn’t want me to leave. He jumps on my shoulders, tugs at my clothes, and blocks the door. Before his sister came, he had to sleep in my arms, being held. After his sister came, when his sister slept in my arms, he would sleep next to my pillow, hugging my neck. It seems that he’s afraid I might disappear. He even follows me to the toilet no matter how late or sleepy it is.

Lucky is naughty and always causing trouble at home every day. One day, I suddenly thought he looked a lot like Stitch. He’s naughty and likes to cause damage, but he’s also extremely sensitive and has a fragile heart. For example, once he was showing me his skill of taking paper out of the tissue box. Then he started tearing the paper right in front of me. He was having a great time. But when he turned around and saw me petting his elder brother, his eyes suddenly dimmed. Then he looked at me sadly and listlessly got off the ground and went back to his nest. (Although he usually sleeps on the bed, he never lets his elder brother or younger sister into his nest.) When he’s in a good mood, he will figure out how to steal fish. After bullying his elder brother, he bullies his younger sister. But he will help his elder brother groom his fur and help his younger sister bury her poop! (Ever since his sister came and he found out that his sister couldn’t bury her poop, no matter what he’s doing, as soon as he finds out that his sister is gone or on the way to the toilet, he will immediately drop everything and rush to the toilet and stand next to the litter box waiting to bury the poop.)

Duoduo, actually, I have to admit that Duoduo is really better at winning people’s hearts. She will go to tease her elder brother when she has nothing to do, launching sneak attacks from behind. If she can’t beat him, she will hide in my arms. When sleeping, she will definitely lie close to you. She can play with anyone, even a guest who comes to our house for the first time. She’s not shy. She’s also a picky eater. Once she ate too much chicken liver and vomited and had diarrhea. After getting an injection, she never eats chicken liver again. Usually, she likes to look at you affectionately on your chest. But recently, she’s been in a bad mood. Because she went to my mom’s house to recover from illness a few days ago. After coming back, she seems to miss my mom a lot and is not very happy every day.
