In my life, there is a special little fellow. Her presence is like a warm beam of light, illuminating every corner of my daily life. She is my extremely beloved cat.
From the very beginning, I found that she is extremely clingy. Wherever I go, she always follows closely, as if I am the person she depends on the most in this world. Sometimes, she will quietly observe my every move from the side. Her focused little appearance seems to be exploring a mysterious and attractive world. And I, also have a deep dependence on her. I like to be close to her, stroke her soft fur, and feel her warm little body. Bringing her home is undoubtedly one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.
I still remember when her dad was still teaching at that somewhat frustrating college. When the dormitory was going to be inspected for hygiene, in order not to let her be discovered, we had to secretly take her to the adjacent classroom. She was extremely well – behaved and didn’t make a sound. She just stayed there quietly, as if she knew we were doing something very important and couldn’t make any noise. In the dormitory, her interaction with her dad was simply synchronized. Once, her dad was eating and asked her, “Baby, does dad’s food smell good?” Her little eyes seemed to be seriously thinking about this question. She was so cute.
Later, her dad changed his job and came to live in my house temporarily. Since then, she started various exploration trips at home. She was curious about every corner of the house and often got into some unexpected places. Then she would show all kinds of innocent little expressions, as if showing us her newly discovered “new continent”.
After that, she moved to the rented house with her dad. There, she started a really carefree life. However, when she was in my house, my parents had a mixed feeling towards her. Because she would give us some “surprises” from time to time. She would pull the quilt, and sometimes even wet the bed. The most frustrating time was when she “did her business” in a pack of my clothes. Alas, it’s all bitter tears when I talk about it. But miraculously, after arriving at the new home, she became extremely obedient and had a super – strong adaptability. She quickly integrated into the new environment. However, at this time, I noticed an interesting phenomenon. She began to turn black gradually. Looking at her changing fur color, I felt that she seemed to have an additional unique charm.
She is not only clingy and cute but also has many amazing skills. She is very good at asking for hugs. Whenever she wants a hug, she will look at you with her cute little eyes and gently rub against you until you pick her up. She can also retrieve things. When you throw a small object and say to her, “Go and get it back”, she will happily run over, pick up the object with her mouth, and then obediently bring it to you. What’s more interesting is that she can play dead. When you say “play dead” to her, she will immediately lie down on the ground and not move at all. Her appearance is just like she is really “dead”, which makes people laugh. Moreover, she especially likes to go out for a walk. When taking her out, she is always extremely excited. She is also very smart. As long as you call her name, she will immediately run over. Sometimes, if you directly say “come here”, she can also understand and obediently walk to your side.
The first time I took her to the beach, she was extremely happy. She ran cheerfully on the beach, feeling the sea breeze blowing and the waves lapping. Later, we often walked her downstairs. Although she was also happy, it could be seen that she was not as excited as when she was at the beach. Even when encountering unfriendly dogs, she was not afraid at all and would bravely face them.
She is also very obedient when taking a bath. She won’t struggle like other cats. She just stays there quietly and lets you wash her, as if enjoying a special “bathing ceremony”.
Looking back on every bit of the time spent with her, every moment is filled with joy and warmth. She has brought too many changes to my life and made me feel the unconditional love and companionship brought by pets. I am really glad to have such a cute and smart little partner. I hope that in the days to come, we can always live happily like this and create more beautiful memories.
