Simba: The Warm Little Angel in My Life

Simba: The Warm Little Angel in My Life

On the long journey of life, there are always some special existences that can add endless colors and warmth to our days. And my Siamese cat, Simba, is undoubtedly such a warm little angel.

I still remember the day Simba came into my life. Filled with anticipation and excitement, I arrived at the airport early. However, there was a small twist awaiting us. When picking up Simba, we encountered an unreasonable staff member, which cast a shadow over our originally cheerful mood. What’s more, the attitude of the staff at the freight pick – up window of Hohhot Airport was so bad that it was truly outrageous. Fortunately, the cat was safe and sound, and my worried heart finally settled down.

When we saw Simba meowing continuously in the small cage, my boyfriend and I were both touched by its cuteness and small size. I had originally thought that at two months old, it wouldn’t be that small, but when we saw it in person, my boyfriend couldn’t help but exclaim, “Why is it so small? It’s so cute!” Indeed, Simba’s tiny body made us feel a strong urge to take care of it. I gently held it in my arms and called its name tenderly. After a while, it quieted down, only meowing softly occasionally. Its soft little paws and tender voice instantly melted my heart. It curled up on my neck like a small scarf and seemed to sleep there for a century. At that moment, I felt an unprecedented sense of peace and happiness.

After getting home, since we had already prepared everything for Simba, such as the cat cage, it quickly adapted to the new environment. Just two days later, it started frolicking and rolling around at home, turning into a naughty little cat. Simba’s cuteness is simply indescribable. Every move it makes is full of charm, making it impossible for me to take my eyes off it.

The clingy characteristic of Siamese cats is vividly demonstrated in Simba. Every time I take a shower, it will wait for me quietly at the door, as if guarding me. When I’m having a meal, it will look at me eagerly outside the dining room, hoping to get some delicious food. When I go to the toilet, it has to jump onto my lap and accompany me, as if it doesn’t want to leave me for a moment. When I watch TV, it will lie on my lap, stomach, or chest, acting coquettishly and seeking my attention. When it’s time to sleep, it always wants to get into my bed. If it’s put back into its small nest in the cage after being discovered, it will droop its little head and look at me pitifully as I fall asleep. When I take it out, it’s also very well – behaved. It won’t run around and will stay quietly in my arms, making me feel its trust and dependence on me.

Simba’s daily life is also full of fun. Sometimes it’s extremely sleepy, and its cute and dazed appearance makes me laugh. Despite being so young, it has a great sense of the camera and can pose in various cute ways every time I take a photo. It will also think about its “cat life” quietly, and its focused look seems to be exploring the true meaning of life. When we’re eating, it always stares at us curiously, as if saying, “What are you eating? Don’t think you can hide it from me.” When it sees my boyfriend playing with something, it will also come over and want to take a look, meowing as if to say, “Daddy, what are you playing with? I want to see too.”

When Simba got its first vaccination, although it was a bit scared, it was still very brave. Every photo taken with Simba records the beautiful moments between us and has become a precious memory for me.

Simba is like a little pistachio, filling my life with its cuteness, clinginess, and naughtiness. It has made me understand the meaning of companionship and also let me feel unconditional love and trust. In the days to come, I hope to always be with Simba, witness its growth, and spend more wonderful times together. I believe that our story will continue to be written, and Simba will always be the warmest little angel in my life.
