My tiger – striped Siamese, Yujuan, was only one month and one week old when it first came to my home. It looked so timid in the cat cage, with eyes full of fear of the new environment. Before that, it had been staying by its mother’s side, greedily sucking milk, and that warm scene still lingers in my mind.
When Yujuan first stepped into our house, it was really quite shy. To help it adapt to the new environment as soon as possible, I specially tidied up a room and carefully decorated it into its exclusive cat house. In this small space, Yujuan could explore freely and gradually get familiar with everything around. At first, it always hid cautiously in the corner, observing this strange world. However, the warm – hearted and friendly nature of Siamese cats soon emerged. Before long, it got familiar with us and became extremely clingy. It was just like a little tail, following me every step I took. Whether I was walking around the room or taking a rest in the living room, Yujuan was always closely behind. Its clingy manner melted my heart.
Yujuan has a special habit. It must sleep on people. Sometimes, it gets tired from playing on the carpet and falls asleep unconsciously. But once it wakes up, it will immediately start looking for its owner, meowing non – stop, acting coquettishly and asking for a hug. It has to fall asleep again in the warm embrace of its owner. Its cute and soft appearance makes it impossible for anyone to refuse.
Of course, Yujuan can also be naughty and disobedient. For example, yesterday it peed on the sofa, which made my mother very angry. She couldn’t help but scold it severely. However, Yujuan seemed to understand my mother’s words and knew that it had made a mistake. From then on, it obediently went to the litter box to pee and poop. What’s more interesting is that every time after using the litter box, it would run up to me, wagging its tail, as if showing off to me: “Look, I can use the litter box obediently now!” Its cute and proud look makes people laugh.
On weekdays, Yujuan especially likes to practice “lying lazily”. It will find a comfortable corner, lie on its back with its round belly exposed, and enjoy the leisurely time to the fullest. Looking at its lazy appearance, I always can’t help laughing.
Before Yujuan came to our home, my mother was actually against having a cat in various ways. She even vowed that no cat would be allowed to step on the carpet. But who could have imagined that now Yujuan can not only play freely on the carpet but also climb onto my mother’s bed openly. Every day when I’m playing Overwatch (jokingly called “Butt – watch” by some), my mother will play with Yujuan beside me. The interaction between one person and one cat is extremely joyous. My mother, who was originally indifferent to cats, now deeply loves this little cutie, Yujuan. This is really a big surprise.
Since Yujuan came to my home, it has brought me an unexpected benefit. Because I always need to hold it and pet it, and I have to wash my hands before eating, these operations make it a bit troublesome to eat snacks. So, I haven’t eaten snacks in recent days. Unexpectedly, Yujuan has become my “weight – loss weapon”, helping me control my appetite unconsciously.
As for Yujuan’s gender, it is still a mystery. The original owner told me it was a girl, but I seem to have seen something like testicles. However, this doesn’t affect my love for it. Whether Yujuan is a boy or a girl, it is the most adorable treasure in my heart.
Watching Yujuan grow up day by day, every little move and every expression of it can bring me endless joy. Its vibrant appearance makes me look forward to the future days. I sincerely hope that Yujuan can grow up happily and healthily and spend a happy life in this loving home.
