When I was longing for a cat with all my heart, fate brought this Siamese cat to my side. Its original owner had raised it until it was one – and – a – half years old, and then I got the chance to be with it. The first time I saw it, I knew this was a lucky encounter, and it, this lovely little boy, has since become an indispensable part of my life.
People say that Siamese cats are like “dogs among cats”, and during the days of getting along with it, I have a deep understanding of this. Wherever I go, it always follows closely, like my shadow. When going to sleep at night, it must lie close to me, as if it can only fall asleep in this way. Usually, as long as it is in a good mood, it will lie down on the ground anytime and anywhere, and then turn its belly out generously, looking at me eagerly. Its appearance is clearly acting coquettishly and asking for a pat. Its cute actions always make me couldn’t help but show an aunt – like smile. Even my husband was quickly captured by its charm and willingly became its “loyal fan”.

Its meow is very unique, clear and a bit childish, sounding like a child’s voice. Every time I call its name, it will immediately respond. Its enthusiastic appearance seems to tell me that it is paying attention to my every move at all times. When playing with the cat teaser, it shows extremely high enthusiasm. I throw the cat teaser out, and it will rush out like an arrow leaving the string, accurately pick it up, and then run back happily, as if asking for a reward. We can play this simple game all day long, enjoying it without getting tired. It has many toys. However, unexpectedly, its favorite is actually the steel wool ball for washing dishes. Whenever it sees the steel wool ball, its eyes will light up, and it can’t wait to pounce on it to play. Its appearance is really hilarious.
The athletic ability of Siamese cats is second to none, which is vividly demonstrated when it plays with the cat teaser. It spins and jumps, with smooth movements. It easily makes a 360 – degree turn in the air and can even do a 720 – degree Thomas full – spin, making people dizzy. The curtain rods, wall shelves, and air – conditioner tops at home have all become excellent props for its parkour. It jumps up and down on these places as if walking on flat ground. It seems that the whole house is its large playground, and it is the “sports master” here, freely releasing its endless vitality.
However, the life of raising a cat is not always smooth sailing. Just like the problems that all cat owners may face, my master also gives me headaches sometimes. It doesn’t like to poop in the litter box very much, which really gives me a headache. That feeling is simply terrible. At first, every time I faced such a scene, I felt extremely desperate and even doubted whether I had chosen the wrong path of being a “cat litter cleaner”. But as time passed, I gradually accepted this reality. After all, as a qualified cat litter cleaner, no, it should be said as a “poop – picking officer”, a good psychological quality is a necessary professional quality. I kept comforting myself that this was just a small episode in the life of raising a cat. Compared with the joy it brought me, these troubles were insignificant.
Last week, an accident made me deeply experience the pain of losing it. One day, it took advantage of my inattention and secretly slipped out of the house and got lost. During that whole week, I cried every day, full of worry and missing for it. I searched everywhere, posted missing cat notices, and didn’t let go of any possible corner. However, to my surprise and relief, with its high appearance value and invincible cuteness, it lived in someone else’s house for a week, eating and drinking well, and finally, fortunately, met a kind – hearted person and was sent back home. And it, it seems that it just regarded this as a small adventure outside. After coming back, it was still lively and curious about everything at home. After this incident, I deeply realized the importance of the safety of the cat. I didn’t want to put a collar on it before, worrying that it would restrict its freedom. But now, I quickly bought a nameplate and engraved my phone number on it. I think that even if it accidentally gets lost again, there will be a glimmer of hope for it to be sent back.
Every day when I get along with it, I can feel its unique charm. Its eyes are clear and bright, as if hiding a little elf, and every move is full of spirituality. I love its liveliness and cuteness, its naughtiness, and all the joys and surprises it brings to my life. It is not just a cat but also an important member of my family and the warmest companion in my life. I believe that in the future days, we will experience more interesting stories together and create more beautiful memories.
