Momo: The Unique Siamese Cat in My Life

Momo: The Unique Siamese Cat in My Life

Summary: Siamese cats are lively and active, don’t hold grudges, are extremely clingy, a bit of a coward, talkative, can be shy, have a strong curiosity, and have relatively fragile stomachs.

Our Siamese cat is named Momo. When we named it, we thought there wouldn’t be any duplicates, but when we went to the hospital to register for its vaccination, we found out that there were more than ten cats also named Momo.

Momo’s day: Siamese cats really are like dogs. Every afternoon at five o’clock, Momo will stand by the door waiting for me to come back. At six in the morning, it will step all over my head, and it also steps on sensitive areas. (I suggest boys protect themselves.) Then, after I wake up, it will go to poop. It has to “brew” for five minutes before pooping, specifically by running around and making a whining sound. However, the poop Momo produces is extremely stinky, so stinky that just one whiff could make you faint. Every time I scold it and show my disgust for its stinky poop, and then it looks so pitiful.

Momo’s discipline: Hitting the cat is almost a daily thing. (Just hitting its butt, I’m not a pervert who abuses animals.) What Momo likes to do the most is to drag the tissue box into its water basin and then tear the tissues to pieces. It won’t change its ways no matter how many times it’s taught. And as long as the doors and windows aren’t closed tightly, it will definitely sneak out. Even after getting a beating, it doesn’t learn its lesson. When it feels scared, it will hide in the litter box. (I’m so disgusted by it.) Cats definitely need to be disciplined, just like children. Don’t spoil them too much, otherwise they’ll get out of control.

Momo’s diet: I’m kind of lazy and rarely give it canned food. Cats need to eat meat regularly, and try not to have a single-type diet. For water, it just drinks mineral water, which costs one yuan per bottle. I’m poor. It eats Royal Urinary Prescription cat food because Momo once had crystals. Everyone who keeps cats should try not to feed their cats food that’s too salty. Also, it doesn’t eat cat paste, catnip, and things like that at all. It has no resistance to dried fish slices. Every time it eats too much and then has diarrhea.

Momo’s habits: After I get up, it will meow to tell me that it’s time to eat. When it’s eating, it doesn’t react even if I pull its tail. It just buries its head and eats vigorously. The frequency is probably taking one bite, chewing three times, and then taking a sip of water. What I can’t stand the most is that it will immediately jump onto the bed and roll around right after it poops. I’m so desperate. It’s so hard to keep a cat. I’m so disgusted by it. Licking its fur while lying on the bed is a daily routine. When it licks its testicle area, it will feel shy and do it with its back to me. Then after licking, it will get sleepy. Pulling its tail, patting its head, and even using cat paste can’t attract it. All it wants to do is sleep.

Momo’s toys: Momo isn’t interested in any cat teaser wands, cat scratching posts, small toys, or laser pointers. Many times I suspect that it’s a fake cat, a cat without emotions. So its entertainment activities are limited to jumping onto the balcony to look at the birds outside and running around to catch my feet.

Momo’s origin: I bought it from a family in Tiantongyuan. When I brought it back, it was the only one left. They only charged me 1,500 yuan. It was so cheap because it had fought with its other siblings and lost to the other cats. The fur on its head was scratched off, so its appearance wasn’t good. Later, I was worried that it might go bald in the future.

Momo’s castration: As soon as it turned seven months old, I didn’t delay at all and took it to the hospital for sterilization. Its personality didn’t change much before and after the sterilization. I also feel guilty inside. When the place I live in is bigger, I’ll adopt a female cat for Momo as its wife. Hehe, then its cat life will be complete.

It’s really expensive to take a cat to see a doctor. Just one examination costs over 1,000 yuan, and there’s no medical insurance.

I wrote this in a bit of a mess. Haha, when it comes to Momo, I can never stop talking. Even though I’m disgusted by it sometimes, I still think it’s the cutest cat. Momo, daddy loves you.
