In my family, there are four lovely cats, and one Siamese cat is particularly special. Its arrival is full of stories.
My Siamese cat is named Fecai. Its fate was a bit rough before coming to my home. My mother learned from 58.com that its previous owner didn’t want it anymore, and she adopted it for only 200 yuan. When Fecai first arrived home, it was completely different from what it is now. At that time, it was very timid, not very affectionate towards people, and didn’t communicate with the original cats in the family. Most of the time, it hid under the bed and only came out when it was time to eat and use the litter box.
This is a photo of Fecai taken not long after it arrived home. It was a small one, with a look of unease in its eyes. And two months later, its change was amazing. After its previous owner came to our home to see it, Fecai seemed to open its heart and began to actively communicate with people. It no longer hid under the bed all day long but stayed in the living room every day. Since then, it has become extremely clingy. Every day when I come home from work, it will keep “talking”, rubbing against me all the time, using its head to rub my arms, head, and legs. Its meowing seems to be telling the missing of the day.
However, before Fecai was sterilized, it really gave our family a hard time. Who would have thought that a female cat would urinate everywhere when it was in heat. At first, my clothes suffered, and later, even my father’s clothes couldn’t escape. Fecai’s heat period usually lasted for a full seven days. It would keep meowing loudly from the beginning of the heat period. During those seven days, I fell asleep listening to its meowing every day and woke up to the meowing. That feeling was really exhausting, as if I was going to die. Moreover, when it slept with me at night, its breathing was as loud as that of an adult, making it very noisy and hard to fall asleep.
Now, Fecai likes to play with Miu Ge in the family the most. Despite its chubby appearance now, it doesn’t look like a delicate female cat at all. It is full of energy when playing, chasing and frolicking with Miu Ge, bringing a lot of joy to our family.
If someone wants to raise an affectionate and smart cat, I really recommend the Siamese cat. They are like little angels at home. Although they are naughty occasionally, their intelligence and clinginess will bring endless warmth and companionship to the owner. Siamese cats have a unique charm of character. They can keenly sense the emotions of the owner. When you are sad, they will quietly lean beside you; when you are happy, they will jump around you cheerfully. They interpret their love for the owner in their own way and become an indispensable part of the family. Just like my Fecai, although it once gave us some headaches, now it has become the most precious treasure in our hearts. Its existence makes our home full of vitality and love.
