April is a seal point Siamese cat, and her birthday is on this year’s Valentine’s Day (February 14th, 2016). She is the fourth cat I’ve ever raised. Before having her, I had never known that a cat could be so clingy and have such a good temper.
My dad picked April up from the bus station. I heard that she cried pitifully on the way home, but after she got home, she almost never meowed, except when I put the cat food in front of her but didn’t let her eat it.
When I sleep, she likes to nest on my arm or around my neck. No matter how late I get up, she never wakes me up. She was less than two months old when she came to our home, but she already knew where to relieve herself and never made a mess in the wrong place. Once, she crawled under the bed, and after I pulled her out and gave her a few symbolic spanks, she never did that again.
One time, she had loose stools. She came out without burying it properly and stepped on the poop. My dad scolded her, and after that, she would spend a long time burying her poop every time (although she still couldn’t cover it completely…). She doesn’t get angry when I cut her nails, and she’s not afraid of water when I wash the dirt off her feet. As long as I’m quick when wiping her bottom, she doesn’t get mad either.

She’s not greedy. She never comes to ask for our food when we’re eating. It seems that she hasn’t found any human food that she particularly likes so far. Whenever I sit down to read a book, within a minute, April will find me (when it’s just the two of us at home). She will lie on my feet, and most of the time, she will climb onto the chair, sit next to me for a while, and then gently climb onto my lap and fall asleep purring…
Once she’s asleep on my lap, I can’t move at all! If I move a little, this little girl will let out a sigh! You’re less than two months old! Where did you learn this annoying habit from!
She rarely climbs onto the table to interfere when I’m using the computer, but there are exceptions. If I scold her to get down at that time, she will pretend to be wronged… Sometimes I feel sorry for her and wonder if she thinks this isn’t her real home, so she’s trying to please me and living carefully.
Before going to bed at night, I walk into the bedroom, turn off the lights, and lie down. Without calling her, I can soon hear the tinkling sound of her little bell, and April will come crawling up, purring. Unlike my previous cats that liked to curl up and sleep at my feet or beside my body, April will get close to my neck, put her little head on my neck, and press her fluffy face against mine as she falls asleep.
Actually, this makes me sleep restlessly. I wake up several times during the night, afraid of waking her up when I turn over or accidentally crushing her. Since we’re almost face to face when sleeping, every time I wake up briefly, she can accurately sense it and then purr, asking for a pet. I stroke her little head, and she raises her head to let me scratch her neck. Then I smooth the fur on her neck and scratch her back, and she will lie on her back contentedly, exposing her belly… After scratching for a while, we fall asleep together again.
Even if I get up late in the morning, she doesn’t wake me up to feed her. She just rubs against me when I wake up, yawns at me, and blows her bad breath right in my face = = Then I get up to feed my little master cat food, clean up her poop, and change the water in her water bowl. And a wonderful day begins.
What are you saying about me? That she has eye gunk? Humph!
On May 10th, she got her first vaccination. By the end of July, let me update that the cat has grown to 5 pounds and has successfully been trained to use the toilet. Hooray!

Updated at the end of October:
She’s getting more and more like an old man’s face. Sigh… She was clearly a little princess originally.
