This was four years ago, in Shanghai. When he just arrived home, I rented a house as a studio at that time.
The first night at the studio
I carried him back after cycling more than ten kilometers. He howled all the way. At the studio, he hid in the corner and kept meowing.
A week later
I slowly let him get familiar with my smell, and then he started sleeping on me.
This was when he was two and a half months old.
When I was working, he would lie on my shoulder and sleep.
But the actual situation was like this. Once when I was eating sashimi, he was really greedy, so I fed him a piece. As a result, his wild nature came out. He had been eating cat food before. When I remembered that kittens couldn’t be fed raw meat and went to take it away, this little guy who guarded his food growled and bit me. After that, I was “abused” by him every day.
The left arm

Even if I cut his nails, he would bite with his teeth. He was like a monkey, jumping up and down all day long.
When he was quiet occasionally, he was like this.
But after nine o’clock in the evening, he was like this, and it would last until one o’clock at night.
I like cats with a slender figure like a leopard. I didn’t expect that when this one really came, I almost couldn’t stand it. He wasn’t afraid of being beaten at all. Instead, the more I beat him, the more excited he became.
When he was tired of biting, he would go to sleep.
The first cat I raised was named Wudong. He was a seal point Siamese cat. Because he was too naughty, his name was given the meaning of “Don’t move”.
He only stayed with me for a week, and then he left due to an accident.
But this week, how should I say, he was extremely clingy and very good at acting coquettishly. Every day, he squatted on my shoulder when we crossed the road and went to the studio. He was just like Lanbo, sleeping on my shoulder all day long. It only took a week to develop an affection for him.
After Wudong had the accident, I felt really sad. So I quickly found a cat and carried this one, named Lanbo, home.
I had never raised a cat before. When I was a child, my neighbors’ cats often came to our house. In the countryside, most of them were local cats. There was a black cat that I often slept with.
When I raised a cat for the first time, I felt that the characteristics of Siamese cats, which I also like, are as follows. First, if they are not particularly fat, their figures will be relatively slender. They are greedy. Basically, they are willing to eat whatever I eat, such as grapes, potatoes, melon seeds, and noodles. And they are especially like dogs. When fed human food, they will wag their tails like dogs when they are excited. They are close to people, clingy, and love to play with people. As soon as they are away from people, they will shout at the top of their voices.
They are relatively smart, which is different from the cats I have contacted before and is a bit closer to dogs.
They are bold. Every day when I go to work and go out, he squats on my shoulder. When we cross the road with people coming and going, after getting used to it a few times, he is no longer afraid.
As a result, there were several times when I went out without the cat, and the aunt downstairs would ask, “Where is your cat? Why didn’t you bring it?”
I hope he will grow up soon and stop biting me. Then we can go for a walk together.

He is a blue tabby Siamese cat. The color will deepen and change when he grows up. I have seen the photos of his parents. I hope he won’t be like my friend’s tabby Siamese cat, which can’t be recognized at all when it grows up. The end of his tailbone is a bit bent. It can’t be seen, but there is a small joint when you touch it. That’s why the cattery sold him to me at a discount.
The injuries on my arms were scratched by him when we were playing. When he goes crazy playing, he will jump all over the house and hunt like a little leopard. Even though I am stronger than him, he won’t be discouraged and will pounce on me over and over again. I really like this aspect of his personality.
