The Quirky Charm of My Cat: A Photography Dilemma

The Quirky Charm of My Cat: A Photography Dilemma

My cat is truly the apple of my eye. Every time I look at it with my own eyes, I think it’s extremely good – looking and incredibly cute. With a soft and smooth coat of fur, bright and lively eyes, every move it makes exudes a charming aura, making me can’t help but want to hug it and be affectionate with it.

However, when I try to record its wonderful moments with a camera, I always encounter some small troubles. I’m not sure whether there’s something wrong with my photography skills or if my phone isn’t good enough, but the photos I take always fail to meet my expectations. Take one of the photos as an example. Among the pile of photos I’ve taken, this one is already considered quite good. But upon closer inspection, the lines of the cat’s face are not very smooth, and it looks a bit silly, which seems a bit different from its actual cute appearance.

Looking back at the time when I chose it, I was attracted by its plump mouth. At that time, its mouth looked just right, cute and charming. But who would have thought that as time passed, its mouth became too plump. Now, looking at its round and puffy mouth, I can’t help but laugh out loud.

In addition to the small regrets in photography, my cat’s health also concerns me a bit. It has a bit of conjunctivitis, and I’ve been following the doctor’s instructions to give it eye drops, but the effect hasn’t been very ideal. The doctor said I could stop giving the eye drops because it doesn’t affect its normal life, but the appearance of the tears is not very pleasant.

Looking at the other two photos, overall, they are okay and not particularly abrupt. But for some reason, the cat in the photos gives off a sense of being an “old man”. You know, it’s still quite young, so how could it have such a feeling? It really puzzles me. There was also a time when it was sleeping, and it actually formed a triangular face. Its funny appearance made me burst out laughing.

However, after many attempts, I’ve gradually discovered some little tricks in photography. I found that as long as I take the photo from a distance, make the photo a bit blurry, then let my baby lift its face up a bit, and also wipe its tears clean on that day, I can take relatively normal photos. This made me very happy, as if I had discovered a new world.

Now, I’m going to show my favorite photo. In this photo, the cat perfectly showcases its cuteness and charm. Its eyes are bright and gentle, and the corners of its mouth are slightly raised, as if it’s smiling at me. The fur lies smoothly on its body, and its whole posture looks elegant and confident. Looking at this photo, my heart is filled with warmth and joy.

Although I’ve encountered many small troubles in the process of taking photos of my cat, this also makes me cherish those well – taken photos even more. Each photo records the little bits of its growth and carries my full love for it. I know that no matter what its appearance is like, in my heart, it is unique and irreplaceable. In the days to come, I will continue to work hard to capture more wonderful moments of it with the camera, so that these precious memories will last forever.
