In my life, cats are like a group of joyous little elves, bringing me countless laughs and warmth. Among them, Tangyuan, Diandian, and Yingtao each have their own unique characteristics, and their stories are like a colorful picture scroll, depicting an interesting cat – filled life.
Tangyuan, the cat that often does things that make people laugh out loud, is simply the happy fruit of the family. My partner once joked that it looks like a cat that has been emptied after something, and this unique description has added a bit of a different color to it. It is also keen on giving me massages (of course, don’t get the wrong idea), and its earnest appearance makes me feel its love for me. However, in terms of intelligence, Tangyuan seems to be really not “online”, except when it comes to the matter of “eating”, where it shows super high sensitivity. Since I cut chicken breast and fed it in the kitchen, it has remembered that the kitchen is a place with delicious food. As soon as I enter the kitchen, it will quickly run over and can’t be driven away, even if I just go to wash the dishes. Its silly look always makes me laugh. For example, after being forced to do something it doesn’t like, its expression changes from feeling unclean to looking indifferent, which is simply a walking emoji.
In contrast, Diandian, as a four – year – old cat, is much more stable. It has witnessed various changes in the family and always maintains a calm attitude. And Yingtao, who once drifted north with me, is now enjoying a “princess – like” treatment at my parents’ place. To let my mother adopt Yingtao, I really racked my brains and promised many conditions. Now it seems that all of this is worth it. My mother dotes on Yingtao so much that it even makes me a little “jealous”. Yingtao likes to drink water from the filtered faucet in the kitchen, and the water has to drip drop by drop, otherwise it will choke. My mother will turn it on for it whenever it wants to drink. Once I turned the water flow too big and was scolded by my mother. When I said Yingtao was ugly, my mother would get angry, insisting that neither Tangyuan nor Diandian was as good – looking as Yingtao, and then she would ignore me. In November last year, my parents came to my place and saw Tangyuan for the first time. After they went back, they both said in unison that Tangyuan was not as good – looking as Yingtao. Humph, I don’t agree.
In terms of appearance, Yingtao’s eyes are astonishingly large, giving a unique feeling. When its pupils are vertical, it always makes people feel that its two eyes are not looking in the same direction. After sending Yingtao back, its tear – stain problem has improved a lot. In terms of character and small actions, Yingtao is more similar to Diandian. When Yingtao is curious, it will make a cute groundhog – squatting posture like Diandian. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to capture that interesting moment. Moreover, like Diandian, Yingtao is a “mute cat” that doesn’t like to meow much, while Tangyuan likes to interact with us with sounds. Looking closely at the facial features, Tangyuan is more like Diandian. However, to be fair, I still think Tangyuan and Diandian are more beautiful than Yingtao. After all, in my heart, they have an irreplaceable position.
When sorting out the photo album, I found some interesting photos. In one photo, Tangyuan looks exactly like an uncle, making me sigh how my little fairies all tend to “uncle – ize”. At that time, I was lying on the sit – up chair, and Tangyuan came over and lay on me for a long time. Although that chair was usually where it slept and I took its place, at that moment, I felt its full dependence. There is another photo that I call “Hello, Big Brother. Goodbye, Big Brother”, which records an interesting moment of Tangyuan. Another photo was originally for experimenting with the red – light reflection of the silver – tipped cat’s pupils, but because of the a bit scary appearance of Diandian in the back, it became particularly special.
The stories of these cats are full of the trivialities and beauties of life. Their existence makes my life more colorful. Every moment is worth treasuring, and every story can bring endless joy in memory. Whether it’s the silly cuteness of Tangyuan, the calmness of Diandian, or the happy life of Yingtao at my parents’ place, they all form the warmest part of my life, allowing me to feel the unique love from cats in the busy days.
