When I first saw that little male cat, which was more than two months old, I was deeply attracted to it. It is now the treasure in my palm, and I spent 1,000 yuan to bring it home. At that time, the seller asked me what kind of cat I wanted, and I answered without hesitation that I wanted a good – looking one. After picking and choosing among many cats, I finally selected it. At that time, I didn’t really care much about its breed. I only hoped that it could be healthy, well – behaved, good – looking, and clingy.
When I first brought it home, everything seemed so wonderful. Its small body explored the new environment curiously, and every move of it melted my heart. However, the good times didn’t last long. On the fourth or fifth day after I bought it, ringworm began to break out on its body. As a novice cat owner, I was suddenly in a panic and completely at a loss. I was afraid that the ringworm would be contagious to people, so in a hurry, I made the decision to isolate it.
I put it in a small cage, but unexpectedly, it extremely disliked this cage. It jumped up and down in the cage, constantly making angry cries, as if scolding me crazily. Looking at its pitiful and angry appearance, my heart was filled with guilt. But due to concerns about health, I still hardened my heart. However, it was so unhappy in the small cage. In order to make it a little more comfortable, I had to change it to a big cage for isolation. During that period, I took care of it carefully every day, applied medicine to it, hoping that it could get better soon.
As time passed, now it has been home for a month. Fortunately, its ringworm is almost cured. In the big cage, it has gradually adapted to the new environment. Every day after eating, it becomes active, as if carrying out a special “work – out” activity. It will jump up and down in the cage, playing with the small toys I prepared for it. Its lively appearance makes me see its love for life. Moreover, it seems to have started to be “casual” and no longer care so much about so – called “privacy”. Sometimes, it will do all kinds of cute actions in front of me without any scruples, making me laugh.
Looking back on this experience, although there were concerns and confusion, there was more happiness. Watching it grow from a poor little thing troubled by ringworm to a lively and healthy cat, a sense of accomplishment arises in my heart. Every growth and every change of it make me feel the wonder and beauty of life. Now, it has become an indispensable part of my life. Every day when I get home and see its cute appearance, all my fatigue will dissipate instantly. I know that in the future, we will experience more things together, and I will always accompany it, witness its growth, and give it endless love. I hope it can live a healthy and happy life all the time and become the little sun in my life, warming every day of mine.
