My cat, Tuteng, continues to surprise me with her endearing qualities. After discovering her many good behaviors, I’ve come to realize that she is truly a remarkable feline companion.
One of her most charming traits is her extreme clinginess. She wants to be wherever I am. When I’m working on the computer, she will lie down right in front of it, as if she wants to be part of whatever I’m doing. Her presence is both comforting and a bit distracting, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I’m in the bathroom, she positions herself right in front of me, patiently waiting. It’s as if she doesn’t want to miss a single moment with me. When I’m lying down and playing with my phone, she will curl up beside me, content to just be close. And when it’s time to go to bed, she insists on sleeping right next to me.
When she first came to our home, I left her in the living room. But the next day, when I checked the security camera, I saw that she had spent the entire night waiting for me on the sofa in front of my door. It was such a touching sight that made me realize just how attached she was to me. Her clinginess is not just a sign of dependence; it’s a demonstration of the deep bond she has formed with me.

When she first arrived at my home, I was still a novice cat owner and didn’t know much about cat care. I was using the Royal Cat Milk Cake and Miaoda cat canned food that her previous owner had given me. As a result, Tuteng had persistent soft stools, and her cat feces had a very strong odor. But I was eager to learn. After following the rawmeat public account run by a cat expert, I gained a wealth of knowledge about cat feeding. (Before that, I didn’t even know that cats are pure carnivores.)
Now, I’ve completely switched to making homemade cat food for her. Although I can’t make raw meat diets due to the limitations of my home refrigerator, I make sure to provide her with nutritious homemade meals. When she goes for her vaccinations, I give her a cat treat stick to soothe her. I highly recommend making homemade cat food. It’s actually not as difficult as it seems. With a meat grinder, it’s quite convenient. I make a month’s worth of cat food at a time, and it only takes a little over an hour. Since I started making homemade cat food for Tuteng, her stools have become normal, and her cat feces no longer have that unpleasant smell. I don’t even need a fully enclosed litter box anymore.
Tuteng has not only brought a lot of joy and love into my life but has also taught me the importance of continuous learning. As a cat owner, I’ve had to educate myself about her needs, from her dietary requirements to her emotional well-being. Every day with her is a new opportunity to learn and grow together.
I’m so grateful for Tuteng’s presence in my life. Her clinginess, combined with her unique personality, makes her a one-of-a-kind cat. And the process of taking care of her and solving her health problems has been both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to many more years of companionship with her, during which I will continue to learn and ensure that she lives a happy and healthy life.
