It was not until last night when it had diarrhea right in front of me that I began to worry deeply and realized that I had been too careless. I sincerely wish it could get better soon.
On this day, it ate some cat food and always squatted next to the cat bowl, looking at me eagerly. I knew it must be eager to eat freeze – dried food. But now that it has diarrhea, the cattery owner told me that I can only feed it cat food and not give it meat. The medicines I bought for it yesterday, including Surnuo, probiotics, and Virkon S for Pets, were shipped by the owner today. I searched a lot of information online and saw that Mommy Love and montmorillonite powder could be fed. So, I ordered Mommy Love through takeout at night. However, today I only gave it Surnuo. I think it might have caught a cold.
I originally wanted it to use the newly bought cat bed. It had already gone in and started kneading. But then I took it out. I washed the cushion and sprayed the cat bed with Virkon S (there were originally three bags of Virkon S left). I plan to take it out to dry tomorrow, and it can use it tomorrow night. Actually, I wanted it to get into my bed to keep warm, but it seemed very scared. As soon as I put it in the bed, it struggled desperately. I finally managed to get it in, but I had to hold it. When I first saw it in the cattery, I was disgusted. The silver – spotted sister in the same cage as it was lively and beautiful. When I waved gently, the silver – spotted sister could interact with me very well. But it was like it hadn’t woken up, staying still dully, just looking around with its head. It was not only inactive but also smaller in size than other cats, and there were two tear stains on its face, looking dirty. This made me have doubts about taking it home. After all, I had done a lot of research before and was worried about buying a backyard cat. Later, the cattery owner saw what I was thinking and began to recommend the silver – spotted sister to me. I wavered for a while. But the owner said that the silver – spotted sister was 1,000 yuan more expensive than it. Just like that, I finally chose it. However, I didn’t take it home directly because the cage I bought for it hadn’t arrived yet. So, I made an appointment with the owner to foster it in the cattery for a week.
Perhaps it felt my hesitation when I first chose it. So, in the days of accompanying each other later, most of the time it was not very close to me. But as time passed, we gradually got to know each other. It began to act coquettishly and play around me, bringing me endless joy. When it was sick, I was extremely worried and tried every means to take care of it, only hoping that it could grow up healthily and happily. Our story is still going on. Every experience makes our relationship closer. It has become an indispensable part of my life, a partner that I want to protect no matter what.
