In my life, the cat Pidan is a unique and charming presence. The scene of choosing a cat in the cattery last year still seems vivid in my mind.
On that day, there was a large litter of cute little kittens in the cattery. They huddled together, a fluffy mass, making people feel delighted at the sight. At that time, facing so many little kittens, I didn’t know how to choose for a moment. So, I sat down and tried to tease them. Just then, a little kitten walked towards me obediently. Its vivid eyes and cute appearance instantly attracted my attention. Yes, this little kitten was the later Pidan.
When I first brought Pidan home, naming her became a headache. I thought of many names, but none of them seemed suitable. Until one day, I suddenly found that her fur color was very similar to that of a preserved eggshell. The gray fur with unique textures really had some resemblance to a preserved eggshell. So, I decided to name this lovely little female cat “Pidan”. Although this name sounds a bit special, it suits her temperament very well.
Pidan has a very aloof personality. In daily life, she always looks leisurely and content, eating, sleeping, and repeating the cycle, living a very comfortable life. Every morning when I get up, the first thing she does is rub against my leg and meow continuously, indicating that I should pour cat food for her. Her eager appearance seems to be saying, “Hurry up and give me food. I’m starving!” But once she is full, she will find a comfortable place, lie down lazily, and continue her sweet dreams.
Recently, Pidan has unlocked some new skills, which have made me love her even more. One of the interesting skills, I call it the “Pidan Summoning Technique”. As long as I gently call her name or make a specific sound, she will emerge from a corner and walk towards me with elegant steps. Sometimes, she will circle around me and rub her little head against my leg, as if acting coquettishly towards me.
There is also her “One Finger Zen” skill, which is very interesting. When I tease her with my finger, she will stretch out one paw, accurately grab my finger, and then gently scratch with her sharp little claws. Her focused expression is as if she is engaged in a fierce battle. Although her strength is not great, her cute appearance always makes me laugh.
Although Pidan is usually very aloof, she also has a gentle and clingy side. Sometimes, when I sit on the sofa watching TV or reading a book, she will quietly jump onto the sofa and snuggle beside me, quietly accompanying me. Her warm little body makes me feel a different kind of happiness.
During the days of getting along with Pidan, I have gained a lot of joy and touches. She is like a little angel, bringing endless fun to my life in her unique way. Although she can be naughty sometimes and make a mess of the house, my love for her has not diminished at all. Because in my heart, she is not just a cat but also my good friend and an indispensable part of my life.
I cherish every moment with Pidan and look forward to her unlocking more interesting skills and bringing me more surprises. I believe that in the days to come, we will spend more wonderful times together, and she will always be by my side, becoming the most beautiful scenery in my life.
